Yesterday I got my Chrysler 300 stuck in sand when I pulled to the edge of the A1A near Marineland. I called them at 9:44am on Saturday, and in less than an hour, Woody was on location to recover me. He was able to easily wench me out from the front of the car, and he let the dispatcher know that I was hardly off the shoulder of the road, so to charge me the minimum for a hook and pull/winch...which cost $125, but that's kinda what I was already imagining. He could've tried hitting me up for more, but he was cool and cut me some slack. It costs you sometimes making expensive mistakes, but I was still happy to have the service I received from Woody at John's Towing St. Augustine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am so happy with the team at St John’s Towing. My parents recently had an accident in which their car was towed. The service they got when they picked up their belongings from their totaled car was amazing. My Mom couldn’t get the trunk open and they got a battery, hooked it up and helped them get into the trunk. The team showed compassion and empathy towards them all while helping them get their things. Thank you St John’s Towing !!

Fortunately, we did not end up having to need the tow because someone helped us, and we were able to get our vehicle running again. Although John towing was extremely kind and very professional when we called them and he had to have been on his way, he just said that that was fine, he understood and he was glad for us. We were very grateful to have a considerate person on the other end of the phone.

11/2023 appears as if everybody has a pretty different experience with this company. It seems to me it's whoever is on shift at the time. Our truck broke down at a gas station less than 8 mi away from our house. 6pm! We had contacted an Uber which was then on the way, then we contacted this company and after about 15 minutes of conversing, they informed me that the tow would be 170. Seriously... To go less than 8 miles?!... That is complete garbage. We called ABC and they immediately went to the truck and brought it to our house for less than half the price. I don't know about the way you think, but if you keep quoting people double the price of everybody else, it seems like you're going to lose customers... Wouldn't you like 10 customers at $80 rather than four customers at 170... Seems like you're not even getting the four customers though! But good luck with everything. I hope you change your business model

My car got stuck in a ditch while pulling out of a friends driveway, happened around 10pm and called AAA to get a tow, they contacted John’s towing, waited all night for them to get in contact, AAA confirmed that they got in contact around 6am the next morning and that we had a scheduled appointment for 8:30-10:30am, a tow truck drove past around 11:30am, they never stopped, and John’s towing never tried to call my phone, even when I had called them and they definitely had my number. They told AAA that they made the call and are trying to charge me for their “service.” They never gave me any help and I am furious. I called them back and tried to get them to tow my vehicle out of the ditch, but they again drove right past and never tried calling me, but again tried to claim to AAA that they had been unable to make contact. They don’t try to help and they don’t care. I would recommend heavily against using this towing service.

Called in for a tow at 2:00pm and they forgot about my call, had told me they would call me back shortly with a price and a timeframe for them to help me tow my vehicle, didn’t get a call back until 8:30pm. Fortunately I was able to find another way to tow my vehicle. Pretty unimpressed with their service and customer support.

The worse towing company I ever hadThe driver lost my car keysThe driver came in 2 after I spoke with someone he said that the driver is 35 min a wayThe driver show up and he have a girl riding with ( 1am in the morning) so I said to my self it’s not my business,I just want to get home and have my car checked out next day .The girl seems to be on something but anyway, I handled my car keys to the driver so he can do his job towing the car and all thatUntil now everything ok .So we got to my location I asked the driver for my keys back. Wow wow wow wow and wow he doesn’t have them and he didn’t know where he put them atHe went back to where he picked me up looking for themI spoke with manager,the owner no one do anything about it. Next day they send a towing truck to take my car to the chop after they promised me for car rental. The chop can’t unlock my car without the keys ,my wallet and all my stuff in the carI can’t get a rental car , I can’t go to workAnd they don’t want to do anything about itI would never recommend this company to anybodyService: Car towing

They were given our tow through AAA. The communicated to AAA that they couldn’t reach us by phone and declined the tow. They never called. The tow truck actually drove right beside us on a two lane road. Could have reached out ant touched the truck. This caused our wait for assistance to be an hour and half. The vehicle only needed towed 3 miles. Very unprofessional.

I was stuck in the Dunkin donuts parking lot on I asked the staff nobody had any jumper cables I had accidentally left my lights on I was really trying to recruit all the customers coming in for a set of thank God I seen John's towing truck turn in he happily jump started my car at no charge which was a little troublesome and we got it going very very grateful very friendly and came to my rescue thank you very much John's towing!

Bryan showed up took 5 min to get my car on the flat bed, was quick, professional, and polite! They are open 24/7, something to keep in mind, since ABC towing and All Towing never picked up or ever called me back when I tried reaching them on Sunday night when I was stranded on US 1. If that ever happens again, these guys will be the first I call. They also go through AAA.
