“How did we enjoy our stay? Let me count the ways: 1. Location-Only a 10-minute drive to the attractions of St. Augustine, short walk to sunset over the intracoastal and equally short walk to sunrise at the beach; Publix adjacent. 2. Property-Clean, quiet, modern, safe, attractive, comfortable; lots of vanity space & towels in the bathroom; outstanding breakfast, well stocked and with variety. 3. Service-Wow! Kitchen staff brings fruit around to the tables; front desk staff went out of their way to help my wife when her phone wouldn't connect to the internet (before finding out this was a widespread outage); Madison (front office mgr. and guest relations star) set the tone and took great care of us at check-in, check-out, and every day during our stay. Everyone at this hotel was terrific! Future hotel stays in other cities will seem lackluster after this.”

“Didn't stay here just came for dinner, the garden outdoors was so pretty! Great atmosphere and service, the food was very good. A little on the pricey side but you get good portions.”

“We stayed to welcome the year and the location was outstanding! Although we encountered a challenge with the parking which was beyond the Inn's control they managed the situation very professionally. Ervin and Katie, you both made such a great impression. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.”

“This was our first visit to St. Augustine and the location of the Collector Inn was ideal. It was centrally located in the heart of the city yet it was tranquil, peaceful and serene. My room was bright, clean, nicely appointed. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate my requests for extra towels and a late check out.The bartender was friendly and insightful. She was very knowledgeable about local restaurants. We met quite a few nice people from out of town around the fire pit.I highly recommend this Oasis in the middle of Historic St. Augustine. I would definitely go back on my next visit.Walkability: The hotel is located within walking distance of major attractions.Noteworthy details: Every staff member from the bellman to the breakfast server, front desk, concierge were warm and friendly.”

“Lovely room, friendly host, and a goid breakfast. The bathtub was the show off piece in our room. The courtyard is lovely to sit and relax. The location was perfect for us.”

“Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in the front desk service at this one was the most thorough with the most clearly laid out details you’d want to know. The king bed was cozy and pillows extremely comfortable. Room was a great size and everything worked great. The oak trees outside are beautiful. A fair price of $95 for a great stay!”

“Stayed at the marina, but it's a lovely hotel with great amenities and staffWalkability: Quick walk over the bridge to historic downtown and tons of restaurants nearbyFood & drinks: Free appetizers during social hour every day, amazing breakfast”

“Didn’t stay at the hotel but stopped at the hotel for drinks. They seemed understaffed as one guy was working as the bartender, checking people in and working the whole floor. We got drinks at the bar and they were great! Shout out to the guy working the bar who normally didn’t work behind the bar, I didn’t get his name but we all were super impressed with his service!”

“We spent the weekend in St Augustine and stayed at the BW Bayfront. Very small hotel but the rooms were comfortable and pretty spacious. We were upgraded to a view room right across from the bay. It was nice to have a view of the water, however it was Very noisy at times! Loud people out on the sidewalk, traffic noise (motorcycles were terrible), & loud people passing by out front woke us several times both nights (it was the weekend). It seems like there was no insulation because we could hear people talking as they passed by. Next time I think we will skip the upgrade and try to book a room away from the street. One other substantial issue was the very narrow steep steps up to the room. We'll definitely choose a ground floor room next time! Otherwise the staff was really top notch, helpful, courteous and friendly.”

“Rooms were great, service was wonderful but the parking is a pain in the a**. I don't think there's any way around the parking issue due to the lack of space. The fact that we didn't have to drive anywhere all weekend was awesome though!”

“I liked this hotel because it is so close to the old city. The location is perfect. With the car parked and leaving the bags in the room an evening stroll towards the St Marco's street was made. A perfect evening. The room was clean, bathroom in excellent condition.I was not impressed with the breakfast. Got there around 9am and all the pastries was already gone with no refill.”

“Everything about the hotel was wonderful! It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service from the staff! Dinner from the restaurant located at the hotel was delicious! We LOVED the hot tub and hanging out by the pool! We caught a beautiful sunset after dinner. It was nice to be so close to downtown. I can’t wait to go back!”

“I had such a great stay at this hotel. It was really lovely inside, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. The bathroom lighting was a bit dim but aside from that everything was great and you can’t beat the location.”

“This is a nice little place to stay. A short distance to walk to the historical area, shops and restaurants. Nestled on the bay front, the view of the marina and bridge of Lions. We found the room to be clean and neat and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. This is an older motel but they've done a nice job with renovating and making the rooms more modern.Just a few criticisms: there are no towel hooks in the bath/shower area. While the shower area is very nice with the tile, there needs to be a safety handle/grab bar installed in the shower for those that may need that. The shower in our room did not have one installed. The bed slept well enough, however, the pillows were not good in my opinion, but that's a personal preference.Overall, this is a nice place to stay and we would stay again.Nearby activities: Near the historical area, shops and restaurants.Walkability: Short walk to the historical area shops and restaurants.”

“I looked at pretty much all the hotels in St Augustine and ended up very pleased choosing this one. It is walking distance to the Fountain of Youth (about 12 minutes) and the Old Jail. We took an Uber to the town but could’ve easily walked to there as well. This is one of the few hotels where you feel like all the employees actually care about their guests and go above and beyond to accommodate them. Highly recommend”

“An older motel, but the price was very reasonable. The Location is perfect to see all the sites. The rooms were clean but they do not have maid service to make beds and change out towels during your stay. The room we stayed in had just been cleaned when we arrived and there was some kind of cleaning fluid dripped all over the floor with an overpowering chemical smell. We aired out the room for a few minutes which took care of that. If you don’t mind making your own bed and going after fresh towels everyday it’s a pretty great place to stay. I would stay there again.”

“Nicest Holiday Inn I have ever seen, great bar and breakfast area. Huge area outside with a large lit pool and hot tub (wasn't working as of January 11, 2024). We had a suite on the 6th floor, 619, with a view of the pool and lake that you see in the photo. We had two beds and a pull out couch bed. The room had a sort of kitchen setup with cabinets, no utensils, but a large refrigerator. The bathroom had a hydrotherapy bathtub shower combo that was great for my back. There are also a lot of places to hangout with chairs and even two gazebos.Food & drinks: Bar on site”
