Incredible service. I was in a jam with my non-Honda EV and they went out of their way to take care of me. Great people and service. Will be looking to them for my next vehicle!

This is by far the best auto buying experience that I've had. TJ went above and beyond to help me secure a Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring before it got delivered to the lot. He's the only salesperson who kept in constant contact with me and did what he could to find one locally and in other cities at a Honda dealership. When that didn't pan out, he let me know that the vehicle in my color was being built next week and that hopefully they'll have it by the end of the month. They could reserve it if I put a deposit down and to say myself a whole lot of stress, I went ahead and did it. We test drove a EX-L which was like the Sport Touring just not a hybrid and it was fantastic. He went over the EX-L and the Sport Hybrid, super knowledgeable about both vehicles. He also let me know that the Hybrids didn't have a spare tire due to battery space but it did have a tire repair kit. I didn't know that. He also walked us up to the employee breakroom so we could get something to eat since never one of us had eaten yet and we were hangry. TJ was very professional, very relatable and made me happy. I can't wait for my vehicle to arrive.

Customer loyalty at this dealership isn't worth anything. I'm now stuck in a vehicle (non-Honda) due to the fact that they don't care. They did care before the chip shortage and the economy caused a supply and demand shortage of vehicles, but now that they have the upper hand...the customer doesn't matter or I wouldn't be in the situation I am currently in.Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Coggin is a fairly good family of dealerships, but not this one.

All I needed was my door latch checked. I had an appointment and because there is no charge to look at something they had me wait 3 hours. They pushed me aside for their big ticket items. After almost 3 hours I asked the assigned rep what's going on and he rudely said "Well you are not paying to have it looked at which takes couple minutes. I checked 2 other places including Sargeant which took about 10 minutes to look and prepare estimate.Honda of course was way higher and Sargeant was the most Honest, incredible. Coggins always give a free inspection and no surprise they always recommend getting things done which I would absolutely recommend getting a check by Sargeant Auto Repair.

John ... the gentleman who will appraise your vehicle ... is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Besides insulting me ... to my face ... in front of others ... the man took my vehicle for a "joyride" without asking or receiving permission ... BEHIND my back. I th my vehicle had been stolen. my sales rep Cliff was Fantastic ... I won't be doing business here ... and I have asked John to explain to Cliff .. why Cliff or this dealership won't be involved in my upcoming "mult-vehicle ... trade and purchase John should go back to dairy farming .,, the cows don't care how much you insult them

Went to Coggin Honda. They said transmission assembly needs to be replaced. Paid $800 for the part \\u0026 $1100 for the labor. Said it will take couple of days to get the part. Meanwhile the vehicle was functioning perfectly took it for multiple 600 mile trips without any issues. Asked Honda to rescind the order for parts, now they are saying it can't be done. Why should I pay for a part when the vehicle is operating smoothly and efficiently. Honda being very ineffecient they can easily use this part somewhere else but they won't. Very disappointed by Honda Coggin.

I had a great experience at Honda in St Augustine. I made an appointment online, showed up early, and was seen as soon as I came in around 5:30 pm. Kerry helped me and gave me updates regarding my vehicle. The waiting room was lovely, outfitted with comfy chairs, two different TVs broadcasting sports and a movie, and they provided free coffee and select snacks. I had a lovely experience. Thanks!

Absolute travesty of an auto dealership. Car has been here 10 days for a repair estimate. They literally can't get out of their own way. They have all of the negatives going for them... Understaffed... The staff they do have is not that bright. And customer service, which is free and merely reliant upon just wanting to be at your job, is non existent here. Avoid at all cost.

I was deployed and figured I would go on the Honda website and build out a new 2023 Accord Hybrid Touring trim level to replace my wife's 428i Series BMW since she wanted to move to a hybrid before everything goes EV. Once I selected all my options I was directed to my local dealers who had them in stock and/or incoming. The first dealership to pop up was Coggin, and I could purchase the in stock vehicle online which was appealing as I was still out of the country. I immediately went to the linked purchase page, signed the DocuSign contract 23 March and paid for the vehicle via credit card and an agreed trade-in value for the BMW. How easy......or so I thought. That's when things started going sideways. The next day I get a call from our salesman, let's call him JP for brevity, telling me that they don't take Amex (untrue as stated by Asbury Automotive Group, the parent organization of Coggin Honda) even though their system was happy to take $24000 the night before, and unfortunately, that vehicle had coincidentally been sold the day prior. Hey, I had a signed contract and the car was sold THE SAME DAY as the day I contracted its sale. My bad luck, I surmised, but I asked that since I wasn't going to be home for almost a month if they could search for one. JP agreed and he would work that out with their inter-dealership tradesman to do just that. Great, we're back on track....or so I thought. Silly consumer! The day after I returned from deployment, 1 April (I should've taken this date as a hint of how F-ed up things would eventually get), my wife and I drove up to St. Augustine to sit down with JP and iron out the particulars of the sale and trade in. JP had a purchase document with the VIN for the vehicle they had found for us, so I paid a down payment (by Visa) to secure this incoming vehicle. Great news, we're on our way to a new Accord! The expected arrival date would be 15 April and we were shooting for a pick up date of 21 April. Not so fast, buddy. This ain't in the bag yet, not by a long shot. I emailed JP periodically over the two week period leading up to and including the day it should've arrived. He told me that they were still waiting for word. I don't like waiting for something to magically happen so I insisted he find out where it was and why they didn't know where in the process it was. Then the other shoe dropped. On 19 April I as told that one was sold by the other dealer prior to shipping it to Coggin. What am I to believe is truth in this situation? Why, only after multiple emails requesting status updates, did I finally learn of the second car being sold out from under us? I can only go off the level of customer service provided my wife and I, and my overall assessment of Coggin is that this dealership has 1) failed to honor a contract, 2) is non-communicative when unfortunate circumstances don't favor them and 3) Provide falls claims of both automotive group policy and lack of integrity when dealing with customers. The irony is that we weren't in a position that required us to immediately replace a vehicle, nor were we overly ambitious in our eagerness to buy a new vehicle. We will hold on to this extremely nice 428 and when we are ready to buy we will be taking our business elsewhere. I encourage others to vote with their wallets at some other dealership besides Coggin. This experience disgusts me to the point I would rather choose another make of vehicle if this is how Honda treats its customers. I will share this sentiment with all who are considering Coggin for their future vehicle purchase.Update:Contacted the CEO of Asbury Automotive Group regarding their subsidiary. While I don't expect to hear back from David W. Hult. President & Chief Executive Officer, I would hope it would give Coggin Honda a bit of attention so that the next customer is better served.

My wife and I purchased a 2022 Honda Civic Touring sedan here last week, and the process was excellent. Tariq was very courteous and respectful and listened to what we wanted. And unlike any other dealership I've ever dealt with, their finance manager Joe was terrific. He listened and gave us only what we asked for, without the condescending attitude usually encountered at car dealers. The new '22 Civic is a great value, fun to drive, and well worth the wait. We live north of JAX and tried to get a fair deal from one of the three Honda dealers in town, but they were all using the chip shortage to escalate their typical lousy behavior.

UPDATE: they called and asked me to come in to have the problem checked out. Further update to follow. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THE CIRCUS CON ARTIST! traded my Honda CRV for a used Dodge truck. Literally, after signing the contract he tells me the tire indicator light was on; not to worry. The fellas forgot to put the switches in the tires. Just have them, put in when I buy new tires. Two days later the check engine light comes on. The sales agent, Cliff Worrel, told me TWO BAD, IT WAS SOLD AS IS. Said he would talk to the service manager. I was told it had had a thorough check. when I implied that had not been done, he was noticeably bothered. He kept repeating you bought it , AS IS. Is it unreasonable for me to expect a newly purchase vehicle, to not have issues after two days. Now, I have the added expense of the repairs. Any competent and professional business would fix the problem AND have a satisfied customer who might provide future business. How pleased they must feel with themselves. MY OPINION, they are shisters, out to get your money. Go anywhere but here. Oh, did I tell you, I'm 71 years old and REALLY wanted a nice truck to enjoy my last few years of driving.
