Decent local brew spot. Nothing major to write about. Great local feel. Everyone kept talking about a particular hazy IPA like it was the nectar of the gods. It tasted like every other.

The wife and I decided to come here one night while in St Augustine, not knowing much about Old Coast Ales at the time. I liked how there wasn't any overpriced food - you were able to get tacos next door or bring any outside foot into the restaurant. The IPAs were really good too. They had five or so on tap, with the empirical? being a highlight. No double IPAs though, and most of the IPAs were around six percent IPA, which was a bit of a bummer. Old Coast Ales also had a great band playing at the time. Overall, a very solid brewery in St Augustine.

I'm happy I ducked in here to cool off while taking in the sites. The super friendly and knowledgeable bar tender hooked me up with a beer flight that did not disappoint. The availability is always changing to incorporate new and unique flavors. My favorite on this visit was the honey beer and the earl grey tea beer mixed half and half. That was incredible. So many of the flavors work together, and you should not shy away from creating your own unique cocktail if that appeals to you- the staff will be happy to help you craft this as well.

Great brewery experience - dog and kid friendly, with a great selection of brews. Nice change of pace from loud/crowded bars and an awesome patio!

Awesome time on Saturday. Band playing (AC Power Unit). Beer is tasty. Tried 5 different flavors. Impressed with all. Tacos from sister biz nextdoor(Osprey tacos). What a cool place. Wish I'd stopped in sooner.

We came here right when we arrived to st. Augustine. The beer selection is really great! And they have some wine as well for those that aren't into beer. We were hoping for some small bites while we ate, but this brewery doesn't have any food options. Luckily, there's a taco place next door, and your able to bring food inside the brewery to eat or beers next door while you eat. This place is also dog friendly, inside and out, which helped because my dog was with us in our trip and we needed a place to eat before check in. There's a small lot for parking, which I imagine can get full if you're going during a busy time. This place is super clean, and it's over the bridge one the other side of the downtown activities. A nice little break away from all the people. I would defo come back!

We stopped by this little gem on our way to the Night of Lights in St Augustine.... had no idea they have been opened for five years. Ugh we have some time to make up!! IMO very few Florida breweries have a full flight of beers where every one of them are tasty. It's hard for us to pick a favorite because they all are good but if I had to pick just one I would pick Static. The staff here was very friendly allowing us to try their different beers so we could take some home. Yes they have some canned!! Oh happy day! They have a little outdoor sitting area when it's not freezing in Florida (which is pretty much every day except the day we went!) So if you're ever in the oldest city or anywhere nearby stop in, say hello and have a delicious Flo-grown beer! We didn't try the taco place next door but definitely will on the next visit... it must be good because they were busy!

This is the best brewery around Saint Augustine as far as I am concerned. I like the hazy IPA they have. Thanks

5 stars for letting Fido into the A/C. Pet friendly! The Static Haze NEIPA was just what I was looking for on a hot summer afternoon. Will be back for sure!

We've been coming here since almost since they opened. We love this place and the beers. Most of the bartenders and patrons are great.

Quality beer, ride into Old Coast Ales. One of the best breweries in SA very cool atmosphere, and some damn good beer. I have been here many times and they don't disappoint. I really love that they are right next to Osprey Tacos, get a taco bring it next door have a beer and chill. Also they have some tables outside if you want to chill in the Florida sunshine. They do big cans to go and music every Wednesday, and another cool thing is a the share a beer bord the have that let's you leave a beer for someone else, just cool and it's always full, everyone paying it forward. Old Coast Ales CK it out if you're a beer drinker you won't be disappointed.

Can't say enough good about Old Coast Ales. Can't find anything like it on the other side of the bridge! If you are in busy downtown St Augustine, I recommend a quick drive or stroll across the Bridge of Lions. The selection of their own craft beers is large and full of variety. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We usually find a spot at the bar when there's just the 2 of us but they have long tables in the bar area as well as alternate seating including a couch In the room next to the bar. Outdoor seating includes out front or on an outdoor patio in the back. Grab a few of the one of a kind tacos or chips and queso from next door and carry it in to Old Coast Ales and enjoy! Don't forget to look at the board behind the bar to see if you qualify for a free beer paid for by a stranger!

This place is right next to Osprey tacos and it's wonderful. We got here late afternoon for a beer. The bartender let us try a few before we ordered. I ordered the Kookaburra which is a coffee brown ale =delicious and my dad ordered the blonde ale. Also light and delicious. The atmosphere was really nice with plenty of places to sit. We even got some chips and salsa from osprey to supplement the lovely beer. You can choose between 13 oz or 16 oz or you can get a sampler of beers. The decor is very simple and welcoming. Would definitely come back to this place
