I had such a great stay at this hotel. It was really lovely inside, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. The bathroom lighting was a bit dim but aside from that everything was great and you can’t beat the location.

The room was small for the price, but was clean and comfortable. The hotel is nice and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. Beautiful location.Rooms: Room was small. Lucky I was by myself as I don't think two people would have been comfortable in the room.Walkability: Close to major attractions and shopping

I've been coming here for over 15 years....stayed with my wedding party and have over 25 stays on the books. Was here 2 years ago and it was fabulous. Super disappointed in the hotel now....came for my daughters sweet 16 ...the new decorations make me feel like I'm in India or the middle east....doesn't vibe with the history of the building or town. You spend a ton of money to get a mediocre experience. Had my DND on door yet housekeeping still woke everyone up....spend your money with a local establishment....Marriott clearly doesn't have a standard....even for their autograph collection. Staying in a suite is a joke.

I like to always order the chef's chosen surprise menu. The last time I did that was at the Casa Monica. Unfortunately in my case that was a mistake. The restaurant may have changed quite a bit since those heady days of my carefree spending. The surprise menu included a soup that was so salty as to be inedible. When I called the waiter over to tell him about the state of my meal he was apparently unempowered to do anything at all to smoothe my ruffled feathers. I still hold a grudge that I paid for that meal. The waiter offered only a mild soliloquy saying that sometimes the chefs like to play jokes while I suggested that it was almost as if the chef had had a plan to empty a whole shaker of salt in the soup. Still the restaurant is gorgeous in its setting. My partner and I had a wonderful evening staying at the hotel for a weekend, apart from that first night disappointment.

Amazing place to stay, service is top notch! We stayed in a suite and it was a real treat! The bar, restaurant and overall vibe of the city can be felt here! We will be back, nice work Casa! Let’s not forget our breakfast server Micheal D, on his game and full of knowledge about this wonderful hotel!Rooms: Wonderful room and great view!

We have made the trip to St. Augustine several times over the years. Living only a few hours away it's an easy trek and a fun getaway for the wife and me. This is definitely the premiere place to stay in St. Augustine for a reason. From the ice cold infused water at check in to the fine tapestries throughout the lobby this place drips in opulence. The rooms are very nice and spacious.I definitely feel the price is a bit much for the property however I push the rebook button every time we head to town.Walkability: Everything that's popular in St. Augustine is all within minutes walking distance.

After walking for ages looking for a public bathroom in St Augustine Florida, I sent my girls (13 and 15) into your hotel to ask if they may use the washroom as nothing nearby was open (6:30pm!). They were turned away and told the closest one was several blocks "that way".I was holding the dog outside so I wasn't with them but I need to say...shame on you for not allowing 2 kids to use you facilities in a highly tourist area with nothing else nearby. The car was parked closer than a washroom and no in and out privilege at parking so....we left.St Augustine and Marriott both need to do better. Too few bathrooms too far apart and hard to find. Work together. Fix the issue.Noteworthy details: No public bathroom access in an extremely busy public area.

First off it’s a beautiful hotel. I asked for early check in even spoke to front desk manager about it. We had a black tie wedding to attend that evening. At check in room wasn’t ready. Not a huge deal we went and got lunch and watched couples after couple check in early.I waited another hour then asked if we should change our room type and all of a sudden my room was ready. If I hadn’t reminded her she certainly wouldn’t have got our room. Even though we were sitting right in the lobby waiting.Very happy to have our beautiful room. We got ready and had enough time to grab a drink at the bar before we left. I was paying our tab and there were 2 extra drinks on it $80 worth of drinks. The bartender added another couple they stopped to say hello to my tab!!! Like what is that ? And they had already paid their tab which I confirmed. He was not attentive and seemed aggravated that I found his error.Casa Monica needs to do better. We are Platinum Elite members and probably will not go back after this experience

We arrived early and we're told our rim would be prioritized and done shortly. They took our number and told us they'd text us when it was ready. We waited all the way until our actual check in time at 4 PM. When they stated our room was still not ready they needed another fifteen minutes. Approximately forty five minutes later after several complaints our room was made ready. The manager did attempt to make everything right. Providing us approximately $60 in hotel credit. We nearly made our Reservation for dinner as we had to wait do long. The hotel has done a lot to modernize its appearance but The room amenities and switches are very dated.Ultimately, I would stay here again, but not for the $800 A night roommate plus The valet parking charge. I could reasonably see this hotel costing Four hundred utmost for its location and level of Appearance.

Visited to see the lights in town for Christmas. The hotel is well placed, and easy to access all sites of interest. The grounds were very clean and well decorated. The room was clean and large.I found the staff hit or miss. Many were very polite and helpful. A few were not rude per se, just did not go out of their way to display good customer service. For example, had to go up to the bar to order my own drinks because the lounge staff wasn't timely. Also, when my wife went up to an employee to make reservations for dinner, she was chatting with another employee and didn't acknowledge her until my wife started to walk away. We ate elsewhere because of that. Most bothersome, upon checkin the room was not ready at 4 like we paid for. In fact it was thirty minutes later. When I ask why (because it was a suite and we paid for that time) no apology, no wine to the room, no desire to make the wait comfortable. Just mumbled, not sure we will call you. Bet money if I wanted to stay till 2 in my room or didn't show up the day of the reservation there would not be the same level of dismissiveness on the reservation agreement. Finally, prices are a little steep. Expected in a tourist area but could be slightly more reasonable. Overall good trip and if coming to the area give it a shot. But don't expect to be blown away.

The management (lori) the hotel, the room the cleanness is very poor here! The carpet smells, no hot water, the restaurant the worst experience! Waiting to be served for almost 30 minutes! I had to complain and get up and talk to someone to serve me at least coffee! The room smells the towels are dirty no white at all !!!! The carpet stinks! The bathroom is dirty and looks old outdated! This hotels is not worth 700 plus a night and not worth a 4 start hotel! Very disappointing with marriot bonvoy!!!Rooms: Stinks smell outdated smelly carpet!

Good location, rooms for the price are just ok, service was mediocre (dirty clothes left in the bathroom, carpet was smelly, shower barely had any water coming out)! We were here for Christmas and the hotel was busy! No availability for breakfast which was included as a Marriott Platinum member, yet they were taking reservations from non guests. If you are going to stay open through the holidays do better! Make sure you can staff the hotel properly, make sure you can accommodate guests for breakfast. Christmas at this hotel is a complete disappointment!Poor planning and management!!
