Wonderful place! Stayed there for a wedding held on site. Rooms were comfortable but could have been cleaner. Bathroom vent was caked in dust. Other than that, perfect!

The room was tight quarters. The bed was comfortable. The loading/unloading area was very small. The breakfast was good. We will definitely return. The location is great.Walkability: The B&B was within walking distance to all St. Augustine historic district has to offer.

Enjoyed a romantic weekend celebrating my wife's birthday. All the hosts/staff were good but especially Marcus on our first night (our first time at a b and b) making us feel welcome and Oliver the rest of our time serving breakfast and helping with anything else. Wonderful place, location, and breakfast:) Enjoyed Night of Lights and sightseeing.

Charming B&B, a short walk from the center of town, close to all the action but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Well-appointed rooms with old-world charm. Beautiful courtyard with ample seating. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Parking is not on site but just a very short (5 min) walk. My wife and I loved it and look forward to staying again someday.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They completely stole our money. We spoke to Kathy who said she would help us re-book since we had a death in the family and when we tried to book she completely blew us off. We have tried calling multiple times and when she hears our voices she immediately hangs up! Be careful if you book with them.

Our 5 year anniversary getaway to St. Augustine was fantastic and staying at this bed and breakfast in the heart of the historic district added an extra touch of old world romance! We stayed in the Cielo room. The bed was comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful courtyard! We had a wonderful stay!

This was our 1st time staying here. We are regulars to St. Augustine and usually stay always stay at our regular B & B. This time we could not get the room we wanted so we tried Casa De Solana. The rooms was antique (ish) but thats what you expect especially staying on the oldest street in St Augustine. The jacuzzi was not really for 2 people (unless you are really short) But it was enjoyable. Room was cozy the fireplace which was just for the ambience was nice. The balcony was cozy and you could over look everything. We had a very MAJOR issue when we returned to the room. Our room was flooded and one side had alot of water. There had been a major rain/wind rain storm that evening. We reached out to the emergency number about 5 times, texted and emailed with no response. We were NOT happy, items were almost soaking wet. And no response from the emergency number as we were told to call....BUT.......... After I spoke with Oliver that next morning I let him know how VERY unhappy we were. Within 6 hours I received a call from Jonathan who apologized for everything we had to deal with, and was sorry he could not respond to our emergency call.BUT Jonathan refunded all of our money for the nights we spent there. He knew how very unhappy we were. But I wanted to say how grateful and thankful we are for the staff at Casa De Solana for refunding all of our money and actually caring enough to make sure we were taken care of.We will stay here again, should our B & B not be available.I can say I recommend this B & B just because they actually gave a damn about customer service....They are conveniently located so you walk anywhere to any attraction, restaurant or bar.We only had one breakfast bc we were just so upset and left on Sunday morning. But we met the chef, who prepared a peach french toast with sausage. Very tasty. We never got to taste the cookies (which I wish we did)Places like this are very few and far between when it comes to customer service..

What an amazing experience staying here. The location is perfect for the downtown area. We arrived 2 hours early and were able to get in our room, thanks to "Cathy". Parking wasn't an issue being only a few blocks away. The coffee, tea and cookies were delicious. The breakfast was really good and the gentleman that served everyone was very cool. Looking forward to staying here in the future.

Our room was FILTHY. I wouldn't even walk around barefoot. The mattress was super lumpy, time for a new one. The bathroom was disgusting. While we fully understand this is an old establishment, there is a difference between old and dirty. This place needs a big time deep clean, starting with the windows. You pay for location. If I were to return, I would stay in a hotel. The gentleman that works here is NOT friendly!

First time staying at a BNB. Well, I have to tell you, the Casa De Solana has set the bar pretty high. We stayed at the sister property, Victorian House. The room to the service was impeccable. Sylvia was fantastic and accommodating. Breakfast was hot and made to order. Sylvia came in early so we could have breakfast before our early flight. Thank you Kathy for taking my call while you were on vacation. Jonathan, thank you for your hospitality as well. Thank you all for making our vacation one we will never forget.Rooms: Updated and private bathroom.Walkability: Everything is within walking distance. Shops and restaurants.

Sadly dated and falling apart at the seams, and not in a charming way. Dark red floral pattered, mystery stained carpets with a moldy smell. The rooms look like a cheap model, not at all as pictured, with tv wires sticking out haphazardly, bathtubs in the middle of the bedrooms, moldy and brown stained ceilings. We had no choice but to stay here ultimately, but I regret I spent my money here. We never saw anyone at the front desk, we were left a letter to check in because we checked in late. We came ten minutes late for breakfast (which is from 8:30-9:30) and the staff was eating the breakfast. When we came in they just stared at us - we were okay with missing breakfast, but even the juice was quickly swept away from us. No problem, again, as we were very disappointed by the breakfast the previous day (2 pieces of rock hard sausage and a croissant French toast…excuse me, I meant to say week old stale Publix croissants fried in egg and bathed in syrup), but the women working (two European women) were so rude the whole time…as someone who is European, who thankfully doesn’t live in Europe anymore, I can spot European “customer service” a mile away. We were checking out around 7am - there was no one at the front desk and one of the rude girls just said “give me the keys, bye”. For 700 for three nights…I just isn’t what you expect. Please don’t waste your money here. I’m sure there are better places around. Attaching the photo of the horror movie worthy bathroom ceiling. I’m just trying to pay it forward by making sure no one gets themselves into the same kind of situation.Only pro: Kathy helped us figure out check in after hours and at one point okayed parking in the loading zone when I called her. Thank you to Kathy.

Couldn't be a more perfect location convenient to old Town, marina area, numerous restaurants, Flagler College, Lightner Mus - all easy walking distance. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Parking just a few blks away. We never needed the car to get anywhere. Our room a bit out-dated abd some exterior areas & furniture appesr a bit tired but didn't affect our enjoyment of the place. Generous "Happy hour" with nice wine & amazing home-baked cookies conducive to mingling with other guests. Pleasant b'fast room, tho better & healthier choices for b'fast would be a welcome addition

My only discomfort was parking. But that's what you get when you want to be close to the action. They have a parking lot about two blocks away. We got caught by the rain during that transit to our car. All else was great. The breakfasts were tasty. The place is cozy and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.Nearby activities: Close to the action.
