It was our first time going out to fish on a boat in St Aug and these guys took the time to show me specifically on a map where we'll have the most luck. We anchored near a location they had referenced and my son landed a slot red (20") in addition to 5 other species throughout the day: spotted sea trout, flounder, black sea bass, jacks and blues. 4 dozen live shrimp and knowledge from Avid Angler was all we needed to have a fantastic day on the water. We'll be back!

Old Florida tackle shop with a solid line of tackle and other fishing gear. Live shrimp and fiddler crabs. Also a full line of frozen bait. Really nice bunch of people work there.

Owner in Nissan truck was rude closing up. I wont spend a penny here as I was coming in to spend for multiple fishing poles, line, weights, hooks, bait, apparel, etc..his loss ???

This is what a bait and tackle shop should be. Went in with a problem with my reel. Not only did they fix it with a smile and some conversation. But they didn't charge me. I will take all my angling needs to this local Gem from now on.
