So far I'm not really happy. Usually when you open a checking account with a sizeable amount. The banks I've always dealt with will hold a bit of the check but after a couple days they peel ya off a little bit. But Ameris holds on to all of it for 10 days no exceptions (which comes out to 14 days. You can't tell me it takes in the year of 2024 that it takes Ameris 14 days to find out if a escrow account has the money to pay. Or is Ameris just trying to hold on all the money a little longer to make money on my money ?. I don't think this is going to work for me!

Christina was polite, professional, friendly and did well assisting special needs customers with account balances and expenses payments for mortgage. Christina is the example of good customers service.

Banking with the efficient and friendly staff at this branch is pure joy! I have never had to call or visit to have something corrected. They listen to the customer, anticipate your needs and check for satisfaction. Special mention to Julia, Nicole and Kym. Three people that Ameris should treasure as much as I do.

I’ve been with Ameris for years, even when it was previously Prosperity Bank. The ladies at the Ameris Southpark branch are amazing! They are always so helpful and go above and beyond when I have questions, etc. I’ve even been able to email them directly if needed. I love when a bank feels local and that’s how this branch makes me feel. 100% reccomend!

The staff at SouthPark Branch is always personable and helpful. They are accommodating and go over and beyond for their customers. Our family loves all the fabulous ladies at this branch. Very thankful for each of them.

I’ve only joined yesterday, and I’ve already had to call customer service twice for some kind of fraud protection from taking money from one account and putting it into my Apple Pay account. When I call customer service, they didn’t have a good reason as to why there was a fraud alert. Next on top of that, I never received a text, email or phone call reporting fraud. Remember I only started my account yesterday and I’m already having issues with this company!
