I just love my hometown Ace! Fresh, free popcorn on our way out just tops off an always easy, productive trip. They have what I need, and some friendly person can always lead me right to it. Love it!

Every time I go in there I find what I am looking for, usually by simply asking the first employee I see. They are always friendly and know where to find what I need. How do they do it every time?

Ok, to be fair, I'm from a small town in N.C. so I'm use to at least 2 store employees asking me if I need assistance. What a difference a state makes. I wandered around the store and eventually found what I needed. Not very busy at the time. I mean no big deal. When you compete with large box stores, you need an edge.

This review pertains to ace on A1A, Anastasia BlvdI think by now most people know how inflated the prices are here but my concern isn't that. I tried returning an Ace branded product, it's still sealed, still in their stock holding and under $3. I had paid cash so and didn't have the receipt. Yes my fault and may judgement be upon me for not keeping a $3 item receipt which is already branded by their name. I felt like i was interrogated and as though i was a criminal. This is one sad, desperate and shameful thing to do to a customer. I understand policies but they wouldn't even offer a store credit which every other store in the country would doI went to the other store on US1 and they went the extra mile to absorb a ridiculously pathetic situation within 2 minutes.It's not only important to make huge big profits but if you're going to do that you should at least learn how to treat people who have done the unforgettable act of losing a receipt to a $3 item.Obviously this was more of a social experiment which shows how poorly they treat customers.

Had a horrible experience here trying to buy some some liquid chlorine. The lady in front chastised me about people stealing their chlorine bottles and the loading guy looked at like he was bouncer and didn't bother to help get my chlorine bottles . I returned my bottles to the counter and left... I have been buying chlorine and plants and my garden supplies from there for twenty years.. I have never been so horribly treated anywhere. what happened to days of good friendly customer service? What happened to people like Richard ? Who would bend over backwards to help you with a smile!!??

Husband was at Ace on the island as soon they opened this morning. Wanted to give creds to cashier and sales associate helping him find pet spray he was looking for _ awesome customer service and information.
