My family had their first boating experience with Island Charters fish and fun tour. We all had such a blast . Captain Luis was full of information and showed caring and patience to my granddaughter with the fishing. She really had a blast. The sunset was beautiful. I recommend taking this tour and when we visit again we will take this adventure again. Thanks to you and your staff for an enjoyable time.

I recently booked a fishing charter with Captain Stacy and Island Charters on beautiful St. George Island. It was nothing short of phenomenal!From the moment we stepped on board, it was clear why they are the most recommended charter company in the area. Captain Stacy greeted us with warm smiles and immediately began educating us with knowledge of the local waters.This Captain knew exactly where to find the prime fishing spots, providing us with the opportunity to catch an array of fish.Not only were the fishing spots top-notch, but the boat itself was clean, spacious, and equipped with the latest technology to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing. The Captain went above and beyond, offering helpful tips and assistance to both novice and experienced anglers alike (even the experienced ones learned a few things!).What set this charter apart was their commitment to sustainability, emphasizing catch and release, and educating guests on the importance of conserving the beautiful marine life that inhabits the waters surrounding St. George Island.The breathtaking views of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico were the cherry on top of an unforgettable day. Island Charters, Krista and her team were great to work with! Great communication in booking and coordination of the trip which was adjusted for a windy day. Captain Rudy was great! Sharing his love and knowledge of his home. Captain Rudy put us on fish on a day that wasn’t looking promising with windy/choppy waves.I was really impressed with their communication through text messaging, payment through Venmo and customizing our trip (fishing, touring, shelling).Don’t hesitate in booking you adventure with island charters!

We had a wonderful time with captain Luis! He’s very knowledgeable of the area, felt safe the entire time, great music and hilarious conversation. They fit us in last minute and brought us to the fish! Highly recommend him or his wife Krista! Great group.

HIGHLY RecommendedMy brother in law and I had scheduled a family trip so the kids could find nice sea shells and to see the beautiful sun set on the ocean. We called a week prior to the trip and added a little fishing package for the adults. We arrived on the island and while sitting on the beach Captain Krista called on Tuesday and informed us that bad weather was coming in and wanted to see if we could reschedule for that night. We changed Captains to Captain Skip. Let me tell you this man had a huge hand in making some beautiful memories for my family. The enthusiasm and knowledge of each individual fish caught. He took the time and explained about each fish to the kids. Captain Skip then seen that we were about to get caught between 2 storms. Making safety his first priority he explained we would call it a night and head back in. The water was pretty rough on the way back but with his years of experience on the water he went through it with with out any problems. Thank you all for looking out to reschedule the boat trip and think of our family's safety first and foremost. Semper Fidelis Captain Skip we will see ya next year.

I contacted this company several months before a June 2022 trip to St George Island to charter a couple of half day fishing trips. I was told they would accommodate my request and would send details by e-mail and text. Nothing was received and subsequent phone calls went to an answering machine. By the time I tried to charter with another company, all were booked. I wouldn't trust this company and what they tell you.

This is a small craft charter, which means it is weather-dependent, and it took us a couple of tries to get a calm June morning with little wind. So if possible, build some flexibility into your schedule; Krista worked tirelessly to accommodate ours. It was SO worth it. We had a wonderful experience with Captain Skip. He is an expert pilot, knows these waters like the back of his hand, and can tell you the insider’s history of anything you point at. (As the former county sheriff, furthermore, he’s got stories for days.) He took us fishing off St. Vincent, put us ashore on Little St George to explore the island and visit the gator pond, and even invited us back to his house afterward to clean our catches for us. He was also unfailingly courteous and great with our children, indulging their endless questions and their desire to fish just a little bit longer. We felt like the sea was ours. What more can you ask for?

Had a great time with Captain Luis. He wasted no time getting to the best spots to put us on fish. He is very knowledgeable of the area and the fish in these waters. Changed up tactics and stayed out late to catch the fish that was breaking our line. Was a great Graduation present for Nic. We will definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

What an amazing trip! We have never truly been fishing so this was a first-time experience. The captain was so very patient with us, showing us how to bait, tie lines, and lure the fish. We all learned a lot and had a blast doing it. And now have fish to eat! The added bonus was seeing the sunset at sea. We only live two hours away and are already planning the next trip!
