“After being quoted an unreasonable amount to have my loved one cremated, I called Pinecrest Funeral Chapel. I called at 6:00 on a Saturday evening, the owner answered and was so understanding. A director called me shortly after and scheduled a time for me to meet with him the following day, on a Sunday. They made a stressful process so easy. Everyone, Tom, the director, Chris, the owner and sweet Bonnie in the office, they were all so kind. Unfortunately, I have another loved one in hospice care now, when the time comes, we will be calling on them again.”

“I could write a book for this review. I will try to keep it at a minimum, but I do have to say, this has been a long journey for me and my sister, and our families, along with Brewer & Sons family. My parents passed away 36 hours from each other. My mother on 9/6/2021 and my father on 9/8/2021 just 12 hours after being told his bride of nearly 54 years had passed. He had been hospitalized and was not aware of outside goings on. They were soulmates if ever there were. It was inevitable they were to always be together. The heartbreak to us, as anyone can imagine was unbearable. Brewer & Sons, and all of their family in the Brooksville office was there for us. They were all very supportive, helpful, informative, compassionate, and patient. We did have both dad and mom cremated and Ami helped us through the urn process, and was always available for any questions we had. We had such a connection with her, as she shared a home state with our dad. She definitely has such a caring way and is so genuine. We really appreciated her. As we progressed with choosing to inter the remains our parents in Masaryktown Cemetery, Ryan Brewer began collaborating with my sister and I on the planning of the monument and memorial stone for our parents. I will begin with stating this was a very involved and tedious process. We met for several hours late into the night for our first draft. We definitely had a vision, and we were not going to sway from it. Ryan embraced every single idea, change, change again, and again, and again…and he was onboard with every single bit of it. He, we, tirelessly worked for 14 months to make the absolutely perfect memorial to not only dad and mom, but to our family that passed before them. When this entire work of art was presented to us, we were beyond words, speechless, appreciative, moved, just everything. It was exactly every single thing we worked up, scrupulously planned, discussed, reworked, rethought, edited, re-edited, and made it come to fruition…this masterfully done piece memorializing two amazing people that deserve it. This is absolutely a piece that is something worth waiting for. Ryan had such patience and understanding, compassion, and drive. He just knew to hold fast with us and we would make something remarkable…and we did! Thank you so much Ryan, for your care and love in this piece with us for our parents. “I unfortunately just lost my uncle and Dobies funeral home was absolutely amazing. They explained everything and made sure I understood each step in the process. They were some of the nicest people I have met. They were compassionate but not overly sympathetic or fake, which was nice. It made me feel like it wasn't just another day to them. Mr. Dobies came and gave his condolences and he even gave my son $10 when we went to pick up my uncle cremains. I don't doubt for a second that my uncle was taken care of with all the respect and dignity he deserved.”
