We have done boarding, training and daycare for our doggie here. Every single person that works here is lovely. They truly love the dogs and will do anything for them. I couldn’t imagine letting anyone else care for our pup.When he was there for Thanksgiving they took such great care of him. Somehow they even got him to dress up for his turkey dinner. (He would never do that for us at home!)

My dog Keith always seems to have a good time. The staff is very nice. not sure what goes on inside but the dog never complains and is usually very tired by the time we get home

Super nice staff who took excellent care of my pup! I could only have my pup with me for part of my vacation, and I chose PPM to look after her, she was here for an entire week! I will definitely use PPM again when in St Pete! Thank you for taking such good care of my Chickadee!

Great kennel and training, but im really disappointed with what was our go-to training and boarding kennel. We always Made a long drive out of our way to bring the dogs here after moving because we were happy with The results from their board and train program as well as The regular boarding. We put both of our dogs through the on leash board and train program/training And spent $4500 to do so, plus lots more for regular boarding every few months or so. The dogs did great with the board and train and I would recommend the training, But after today we won't be making the drive to use the boarding facility anymore... Here's why:We called a couple weeks ago to schedule boarding And we were told it would be fifty dollars per night to board our two dogs for five nights. They didn't ask us about their weight, i assume because both dogs have been through there 3 week board and train program, so they know them well.When I dropped the dogs off,there was no mention of any increase in price,however we joked about How big our youngest dog, donut had gotten, he was now 30lbs vs 20 when they saw him last. He's very fluffy too so next to the smaller one, flower, he looks huge. This conversation was had in a joking manner, we were commenting on him being so Different compared to flower who is very dainty, calm, and small, while he is a clumsy bull in China shop type.When i picked them up today i was charged $360 for 5 nights, and I just paid it and didn't think twice, I never had a reason to do the math before, and frankly I trusted them to charge me what was fair/agreed upon. It didn't occur to me until I was driving home that I was charged $100 more than I was quoted, and when I called to ask why, they were quick to reply and say donut grew so much that he needed a medium run vs small, and that was the reason for the upcharge. It definitely seemed as if the call was expected, but who knows.... no apology was given, and i just hung up feeling taken advantage of. I understand that sort of thing happens, and quotes often change in every business, and I would not have cared at all if they would have just told me that at drop-off, or even at the time of pickup. However, they did not say anything at pickup or dropoff when they clearly knew there was a discrepancy between their quote and the final price, and i was really put off by it. Again, we have paid them thousands of dollars over the last couple years, and we are loyal customers. This felt like a nickel and dime approach to a Long term always positive business/client relationship. In my business if I quote a customer the wrong price, I eat the cost personally. I also tell them I'm doing so, but i explain the situation and tell them to be prepared for an increase in price, NEXT time. I would never just charge extra and not mention it at all.I would have been fine with just an explanation that i didn't have to seek out, or even a hint of an apology at a minimum. The way this was handled was the worst possible way, and that is why I'm writing this review. They are still a place I trust with our dogs, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to use, like we had been up until today. It was an Unfortunate situation and outcome, but totally preventable if they chose to do the right thing instead of apparently hoping it would just go away.
