Yes, a modest staff but that means personal service and superior response to individual's needs. Just like the doctor you wait for, because you know he/she cares for each person. Becomes like family!!

Today, we wanted to open 5 accounts (1 personal account, 4 biz accounts) at the South Pasadena Branch. The staff was highly unqualified, unable to answer simple questions when it came to an objection on our part how to set up the business accounts for tax purposes. I have opened many accounts in various countries - the experience at Bank of the Ozarks in bad customer service can not be topped...

Terrible customer service. Went in at 1:30 in afternoon to open an account. No other customers in lobby. After 23 minutes, I was told it would be a while longer and that they were short-handed because it was lunchtime (at 1:53 p.m.?).
