This was a terrible experience. A woman at the counter was extremely rude to us for no clear reason. We left confused and shocked by her behavior. It was so unpleasant that we never want to return to this location again. People like this should not be working in customer service — they should be replaced with polite and respectful staff.

This place has its ups and downs but here are the facts. I read these reviews and not one person works at the postal facility. People complain about passports but on the website it does mention that there is limited availability when you click to book an appointment and even when you read on the postal website. Some individuals have nothing better to do other than write negative comments. I do understand it's freedom of speech and etc. But it's ridiculous when somethings aren't even true. These reviews about closing,finger prints and etc.. is it safe to say that a location needs more people but aren't receiving the help, two, lots of people will write reviews and never tell you honesty.

Wow ! I’m surprised! I came after work to this location because they close at 6:30 pm and I need to send something very important. I get here 4:40 pm and a lady with a relaxed face tells me oh we decided to close early.

I really don't understand the bad reviews. The girls at the South Miami USPS have always been great over the last 4 years. They are well-informed and handle tons of people quickly, despite always being understaffed. Cheyenne is always kind and knowledgeable. My husband said that Michelle took excellent care of him when he got his passport. She even went above and beyond and helped him fill out the check with impeccable handwriting. We both think the multi-tasking skills we've seen at this office are really impressive. Keep up the great work ladies!

Post office randomly closes for lunch break (?)
Came over at 2:15 and was told it was closed until 3:15 for lunch break. Never heard and maybe the schedule should be updated for us to know when not to come.

Incredible, came at 10.09 AM to buy stamps, there was a line of 7 people waiting for service only 1 employee at the counter to take care of us. After waiting for a while when it was my turn I was told to come back later in the afternoon because the Vault where they keep the stamps was CLOSED!!
Unbelievable!!! This place is a JOKE!!!!!

I just visited this location. I had 11 packages that I needed to mail out for work. I’ve witnessed some very rude interactions in the past at locations in the relative vicinity, so I decided to come to this branch instead. Michelle helped me and she was very polite and helpful to me and the lady that was in front of me in line. I’ll be back to this branch for sure. Thank you Michelle!

The worst post office staff in the USA. Sometimes the doors are locked during business hours. I asked the supervisor why they were closed and she simply said she was following her bosses orders. Nothing else, 4 employess just watched me standing at the door. They don't want to work, but they get their paycheck anyways.
