I had a flat on my e-bike and I found it hard to find a shop to fix it. The first place insisted on texting with me all day only to ghost me when I told them I just wanted to fix a flat, not buy new tires. The second place only works on e-bikes that they sell, which is not the type I have. The third place only fixes motorcycles though they sell e-bikes, too. Finally, I decided to go to SOMI Bike. I called first to see if I needed an appt and they told me just to drop in so I did. They gave me a quote up-front, which they stuck to at time to pay. They were all very nice. It should be noted that no one in there spoke very much English. That's ok with me bc I understand and speak some Spanish but this might be a problem for some people. They seemed to understand English just fine, though. I spoke English the whole time and they spoke Spanish and we were able to communicate effectively. They told me to expect my bike to be ready in 4 days but it was actually done about 90 minutes later so I was able to run back and pick it up the same day before I had to leave for work, which made me very happy! It's nice that it is located on the Underline Path. The price was fair but I did find it a little odd that they are set up to receive tips at check out. I get it, everyone is doing it these days but, really? I can't blame them- why be the only ones not asking for a tip? But I don't love how overboard the tipping culture is getting around here. I plan to make this place my "home" bike shop from now on. I also liked that it's a bit more of a 'humble' shop unlike some of the other bigger or fancier places that are all about the mark-up and not about getting people out there enjoying biking. Overall, a great experience.

Took my bike in for an overhaul. When I got home and started riding, the chain came off. When I took it back, the technician put it on the stand to test and the chain came off again. His solution was to limit the range of the shifter. I have had the bike for 15 years and never had this problem before.

1. I needed to add brake fluid to my disc brakes for only one side, when I asked about the price first time the employee said $25 but at checkout I was charged $40. I know it’s fine but still not feel comfortable.
2. There's no doubt the braking power is weaker after the fluid change but the staff refuses to admit it. if they had another brand new epic evo they would know that, but they don't.
3. They treated my $4000 mountain bike rudely, An employee bumped my bike hard during testing and get a deep scratch while it was placed on the rack.
if I could give it 0 stars I would, but the minimum is one star. If you need rough cheap repair service then go ahead, if you have a fine bike please stay away from this shop

Alright the owner of this bike shop is a good man . I lost my wallet in Orlando at the hotel we were staying at . Sunday evening 11 pm my wife received a message tru social media saying he has my wallet ,and left me his number . He and his family found it by the pool area in the garden . As I returned home to Miami stressed out assuming I was done , this man was honest and did the correct thing . Meet up with him today apon his return trip from Orlando and he returned my wallet . Yes in tact . Thank you sir god bless you and your family .

It's your neighborhood bike shop, when you need your bike fixed they fix it.Plus if you don't throw money at their cause then poof ! No more bike shop, so it's a simple as that.

When in to fix a flat. Jose was extremely helpful and kind. Recommended things that the bike needed without spending a fortune. Service was done on the spot. And unlike Mack Cycle, they service all bikes, not just ones that are sold by them.

I don’t know how their service is like because I have not been able to get anyone to answer the phone tried over several days. No voicemail or message just rings. Must be too busy to take new calls. Just trying to inquire about tune up service. ??♂️
