Back in 2016 or so, I had to report Bobby then Camp Host at Forelake Campground just down the road for being a Peeping Tom middle of the night, & not Bobby's First Time, either. I simply got Fed Up with it. Well, they Fired Bobby (or Pretended To & just Moved him, it seemed, because he was still around Causing Trouble).Apparently this Kevin character, the one in the Cross pic, was some Pal of Bobby's.. probably bought all his Beer & Cigarettes there at Scrambletown Grocery, who knows. Anyway, I go to this store one day to do Laundry, & this drunk store operator (his Sister owns it, tho) along with two drunk friends come outside & start a Fight about Bobby, & this Kevin I guess his name is told me to take my business Elsewhere like he had anything to say about it. Few days Later I drove by & his Sister had him out by the Road giving him What For about it, & I could tell by the Look he gave me as I passed that it was about him & his Drunk Pals that day. I Still never went Back, tho.. It's No Privilege to Pay Too Much for stuff Anyway.Last I Heard, Bobby had Died.

This little store has been around forever, though it has changed names and owners a couple times. The current manager, Kevin, is a great guy. Nice people and decent prices, small bit of "grocery store" type products and good price on gas though generally 5 cents above gas in town.

Kevin is awesome, the owner, knows everyone by name. Always coffee brewin', and if you're lucky, plenty of our "old-timers" for fishing tips, politics, and good old talk. So friendly, and has been store here for time out of mind. Seriously. Quaint, good chance you'll find what u need, invaluable to campers for staples, staying at Fore Lake. Almost forgot, on some nights, u can catch live pickin and singing there, small outdoor pavilion. Can hear from my patio ( lucky, huh?) Bring a seat, ask when someone may b coming!
