My family has been going to Sherman’s Auto for years to maintain and repair all of our cars. This is one of those hidden gems that provides expertise and tools to provide fast, effective service for a wide variety of foreign and domestic cars. Not to mention Sherman is a decent, honest person who bends over backwards to make his customers happy. This is a sincere statement to share good will to anyone searching for a good garage.”

“In todays world of customer service it has become harder and harder to find good service. Add to that the cost of said service and the attitude of those providing it and one often leaves with a bitter taste in their mouth and a resolution not to return. I have to say without reservation, that Midas on Clark Rd, in Sarasota offers a refreshing change. Brian was kind, welcoming and understanding as I checked my car in. Countless people were in and out of this busy place during my 2 hours there and I never saw or heard the pressure or the pace of activity so much as ruffle a feather. At every turn I heard compassion, and a willingness...no, an eagerness to go the extra mile for the customer, to make the value of their service that much better.
On a personal note, I brought my car in to find and fix whatever leak or seal on my tire was causing it to constantly lose air. The issue was that my tire was dry-rotted causing continuous air loss. I was told I could purchase a tire and given a very reasonable price but even that price was far beyond my current needs. I told Brian I would have to trust the Lord that the tire would last until I could replace it, or He provided money from heaven. 30 minutes later, Brian told me they had put a new tire on my car...and I almost panicked...until he said, "you said the Lord would send money from heaven, and He did." I give God the Glory for doing this for me, (He is a great and mighty God) and the customer who overheard my comments and acted as His messenger a very sincere thank you. I was blessed this morning in many ways.
Obviously, I would recommend this Midas to everyone. Their service is a significant departure from what I have come to expect these days.
You can feel confident they'll take good care of you there.”

For my car a HL assembly replacement would be around 1200 bucks with labour so even if these need to be touched up once a year I could have it done once a year for more than ten years and still save money. Makes sense to me. Funny thing is the elderly lady that lives in my condo building was looking at the car and saying it looks better for some reason. She couldn't figure out what; she just knew it looked better.”

I came to them for an oil change and suspension issue because my car was NOT performing well. After they ran their routine diagnostics, Mic called and informed me of the things I should fix and things I need to fix. For the amount of things wrong with my car, they were very reasonably priced and I got my car back within 24 hours. “I had my car towed to Christian Brothers on Derek avenue a few days ago. I was experiencing a problem that I had a few months ago: cylinder coils were acting up again.I left the guys a note as to what I thought the problem was and they got back to me via text in an hour after they opened for the day. The texts that you'll receive keep you in the loop every step of the way from the time they bring your car up on the lift to the end when your job is complete.They send still pictures and video of what they find so there's no question as to what is being fixed and what needs attention in addition to what you think the problem may be.I spoke with them shortly after the videos were sent I authorized the repairs and confirmed my cylinder coils as well needed attention. I got a call a few hours later explaining that I could pick up my car the following day because the parts from the Jacksonville warehouse had already left the area. This was very helpful because it allowed me to plan the rest of my day because they didn't wait until 4:59 p.m. to call me. Excellent customer service.I got a total over the phone, in addition to a $50 coupon that they applied, picked up my car an hour later, they drove it around front for me and gave me a free bottle of water. The receipt is spelled out to the letter on how long each of the repairs took, how much were the parts for each repair. It's very easy to understand.Will recommend. I'll be back.”
