“We visited Veterinary Surgery Service in Fort Walton Beach from out of state for laser disc ablation surgery for our 5 year old Dachshund, Gus. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely helpful and supportive to our pet’s clinical needs.

Our dog suffered from IVDD and had surgery 4 months prior. While his initial surgery was successful, the road to recovery was long and difficult. As soon as he was stable enough to undergo the laser disc ablation procedure, we signed up and headed down.

THIS PROCEDURE ACTUALLY HELPED PREVENT ANOTHER DISC HERNIATION.

Our experience with the entire team at Veterinary Surgery Service was a 10/10 and we expect Gus to have many more memories thanks to the their efforts. Cannot thank them enough for the dedicated, professional care they provided us. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

“My dog had a spinal cord injury and they had a tech waiting for us on arrival and got us in to see the vet immediately. X-rays, bloodwork, and exam all done within the hour. My dog got pain meds and stayed the day for observation. The vet techs literally spent their lunch break giving her love and holding her paw. Thank you to the entire team of people (vet, vet techs, receptionist, etc) that kept me informed and treated my dog like their own. Their love for my dog is what made this terrible experience somewhat manageable. Thank you guys for everything!”

“AMAZING STAFF!! We recently moved to the area and found them via Google. NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED. I was so concerned over an awful rash/allergy my dog had, they fit us in within days. “I have been in the area since 2007, and I have 6 German Shepherds, that are basically my children. I was using another vet, who sold out to a large corporation and with that the company lost my trust and favor. I have found my new home with Dr. Jenny, she is absolutely amazing! Not only did she take in new patience’s (mind you 6 large GSD), I also had an emergency that need attention and she got me in immediately. I should have been going to her for the last 16 years (hindsight is 20/20) I would have been much happier and so would have my babies. Her staff is unbelievable, those girls work so hard and have so much love for animals it melted my heart they were with my boy every step of the way and answered ALL of my questions and went beyond what they needed too. My heart and family now belongs to Niceville Animal Clinic with Dr. Jenny and her wonderful assistants, I have faith back in the actual veterinarian creed and Dr. Jenny’s standing on what is best for the animal!!! . “I ran home to make this review. I have a pitty who is very anxious with people (barks a lot). i’ve taken her to other vets before and they just weren’t patient with her…Nessi had been having some issues and we knew she needed to be on anxiety meds. took her here and the staff did INCREDIBLE. I cried when I got in the car. Having a pup who is scared makes it hard to find people who aren’t scared. this vet office was unlike no other. They trusted her and took their time with her. This will be our new place. 10/10”

“Dr. Blumer came to my house for in home euthanasia for my 16 year old best friend. He was absolutely wonderful. He’s warm, kind, and made sure she felt no pain. I couldn’t have asked for a better doc for this experience. Very thankful for Dr. Blumer❤️”

“They saved my dogs eye sight. We visited at the Pensacola office and new location in Fort Walton Beach. The only thing I didn't like is that at the FWB location you cannot go into the office because (they said) lack of room. Overall, great staff. Very friendly. Prices are reasonable.”

“5 out of 5 stars for this outstanding clinic! Dr. Tovrea and her staff (from techs to the front desk) are some of the kindest, most caring and knowledgeable people around! They’re everything I’ve wanted when it came to finding the proper, tender care for my pups. I have tried a couple other veterinarians in the area, to include Navarre and Niceville. But neither have come close to Crossroads! The care my dachshunds have received at Crossroads is unmatched. I’ve recently made the switch here, as my girls were due for their spays. It’s safe to say that I made the right decision. I knew they were in good hands as soon as I stepped out of the building. Upon picking them up, the technician kept me informed on recovery procedures, medication, etc. They were even sweet enough to carry them out to my car (in the freezing cold too)! The next day, they called to check up on my babies which made me happy.All around, I am relieved to have found a veterinarian like Crossroads Animal Clinic! The staff is wonderful, establishment is clean, and prices are fairly reasonable. Would recommend to everyone!”

“I started going to Niceville Animal Clinic in 2020 during the COVID lockdown because they were the only vet clinic I could find that would take new patients. I had just moved here a few months earlier and needed a vet. Every visit has been a pleasure with Dr Jenny and her staff. Yea a couple times I've waited a little longer than some people might find acceptable, but they are busy and always do their best to provide the fastest service possible. Plus they are taking care of animals that many people see as family members, and if they take an extra few minutes to treat and animal it's better then rushing through and making a mistake. My last visit they got me in a room ahead of my appointment time! Even though I live 45 minutes away I'll still continue to goto Niceville animal clinic as long as I live here.”

“Could not be more satisfied with our surprise visit here. My 7 year old chocolate lab became ill over the weekend and we made the trek from PCB to Destin late one evening.The receptionist was so kind and patient when I explained our situation and my dog was taken back almost immediately for X-rays. We were seen by a provider, Dr Dooley, and she was just outstanding! I ended up deciding to leave her overnight for observation and came to get her that next afternoon.One thing is for certain after going to many emergency vets in my lifetime, LOL, the key to a successful experience is feeling like you’re being heard by the professionals there. This place knocked it out of the park! I hope I never have to come back LOL but I know if I ever have another emergency situation arise, I’ll be in the car on the way to Destin knowing that my furry friend will be taken good care of!❤️”

“I loved it here. My dog loved all the receptionists and the vet techs were so nice, and showed so much compassion to my baby. I did give 4 stars just for the fact that I never was able to speak directly with the vet and we kept having to fight worms even after 5 medications for different types! That is honestly the only problem I've ever had. The customer service was great which is hard to come by now and we never had to wait long periods of time for an appointment and they were more than happy to answer the phone and help with any questions!!”

“These ppl truly care about animals. I dealt w Rachel who is amazing w an obvious heart of gold towards our babies as well as the comfort level for them and us moms and dads. They are also open on Saturdays because they realize pets get sick on weekends too and they want to be there for them. I am definitely switching all my fur babies to Emerald Coast Animal Hospital even though they’re quite a bit further away. I will go to the ends of the earth for my babies!”
