100% would recommend anywhere else. They’ll hold your prescription and force you to buy medication through them. If you try submitting the prescription to anywhere else online, vetco of Seminole will deny it with no reason, and tell you to bring your dog in for another unnecessary exam instead. Got off the phone with customer service and they confirmed I have about a year of refills left, and he can place the order for me, however, the vet can’t approve for me to order through chewy. No one is giving me an explanation why I can get it through one pharmacy and not the other, sounds like they only care about taking your money. Please go elsewhere. Staff isn’t friendly either, unless you have a 10lb dog or under.

Our senior dog Cocoa was handled with so much care and empathy. Dr. Asantewaa was gentle and extremely informative. They are a gem of a caregiver. Kierstan was also amazing to work with. Thanks vetco for always taking care of our baby.

This was my first time taking Leia to Vetco Total Care hospital, and we had a great experience! The whole entire staff were very friendly and took excellent care of Leia. I would definitely recommend this hospital, thank you!

Dr.Melissa Cuerda-Sanchez shows a lack of professional knowledge and ethics. This girl is definitely not for a doctor.
1. for discharge from the cat’s eye, he says that it could be a infection, but to give me a supplement and to come back in 5 days. for an exam and to give an antibiotic. I insisted that she give it to me now - who treats an infection with vitamins. 2. I asked to be given a 3-year vaccine and here's what happened - in the paper she gave me she wrote to me that I should vaccinate the cat after 1 year, but she claims that she gave me a 3-year vaccine and that's what I'm paying for. She said to me that she has the right to say that the 3-year vaccine it is valid for 1 year and she is even asking me if that makes sense for me.Is that can make sense for anybody ?Please,do not go there.
I am attaching a photo of my cat eye which she wants to treat with vitamins and a photo of the papers for the vaccination.
One more thing.I ask for prescription for antibiotics she didn’t give me,she sell me antibiotic for $57 and I find out that it is around $ 30 everywhere else.

I have never been treated so horribly in my entire life as I was today by 2 Managers David and Kristi at Vetco in Seminole. I have been a member of Premier Vital Care since 2022. My cat passed away a month ago and I called to have that plan cancelled last week and resigned up a new plan under my new cats name. My new cat was treated there today and I go to check out and they had added a suspicious $24.99 charge, which after being brought up Krist, the Manager found out it was for discarding xrays which I never even got xrays. Then they said I didnt even have a Vital Premier Plan and when I showed David, the other Manager who was also very rude and condescending, he said it wasnt a vital Premier Plan when I clearly had 100% proof on my phone that it was and the dates of my enrollment and they STILL refused to take off the $69 exam fee that I am paying monthly for the program to get FREE exams. After over 40 mins of David making calls to prove I am a member, I had had enough of being treated like some sort of criminal by the 2 of them and told them I wanted to cancel the entire plan and get refunded my $19.99 they had just deducted from my bank account and part ways with ever dealing with Vetco again. Kristi then refused to print out receipt for me and as another customer enters she starts SCREAMING for David across the entire store to call the POLICE to escort me out!!! Because I wanted proof of what I was paying for after already being scammed twice??? At that point I was over all the degrading treatment and walked out to my car only to have David follow me to my car and taking photos of my license plate and telling me I was going to be ARRESTED!!! I asked FOR WHAT?? HE said for TRESPASSING! I cant make this stuff up but thank goodness I have most of it in the store on video as well as video from my car of David saying I was going to get arrested for trespassing. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! I have already put in a call to my attorney for this beyond unacceptable behavior from 2 so called managers.

They were closed when I went there. Online, it showed the hours were open. No one checks the lab work during the week if they are closed. Won't be back. Got the feeling no one cares, and it is just a job for them.

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for a while now and there’s always an issue. Either they never have my records on file or they could never see my other dog even if we booked them both. Switching to Banfield Hospital which is linked with PetSmart and my best friend says they are amazing and carry some great health insurance as well

Always a problem with the visit for my dogs, they “never find the records”, “they’re never in the system” only wanted the booster but couldn’t take my 2 dogs, just one… what’s the point.Terrible service, as soon as this booster is done I’m changing to babfield

Existing satisfied Vetco Animal Hospital customer from out of state who needed a refill. Contacted my local Vetco about getting an existing prescription refilled at this location while I was in town, and she said it would be no problem and for them to call her and look at the notes on my account. Tried to call multiple times at this location to confirm but could never reach anyone at the desk after first reaching the call center. Decided to make the 35 minute drive out, and they refused to call nor look at the account notes but offered to see my dog later that day. Drove back home and came back that evening with my pup. They gave me the refill at an inflated price as it was too late to use Chewy at this point, and they do not price match Chewy unlike my local Vetco. The tech did recommend using Chewy for Simparica for price savings which was prescribed during the exam.I put in the Chewy order for Simparica and waited 4 business days without hearing anything. I called Vetco on the fourth day to ensure that it would get approved as I was never given a written copy of the prescription, and it wasn’t showing up in my account. The agent confirmed it would get approved. Later that day the tech rejected the prescription. I called to ask why, and they said they didn’t have a recent heart worm test for my dog which was needed for Simparica TRIO. I let her know that I ordered Simparica NOT Simparica TRIO, and she admitted her mistake. Chewy had already canceled the order, so this started the entire process over again. I did not trust it to go through the next time, so I asked if she could email a copy of the prescription to me. She instead offered to have me come pick it up at their location (another 1:10 drive round trip).The next day (today) I drove out to pick up the Simparica. They told me they refused to match Petco's prices (even though the receipt says Petco) and charged me $162 for a 6-month supply with no bulk discount unlike other merchants. I felt this was a scam. I paid then drove home for 10 minutes before noticing they gave me the WRONG DOSAGE. Given my dog is almost 17, I did not think it was safe for him to take double the dosage. I returned and asked to exchange the pills. They did not apologize for the mistake and blamed it on his weight being inputted wrong in the system when I had watched them weigh him during the exam the previous week. They gave me the new pills without an exchange in the system and assured me the price was the same (even though everyone other merchant charges less for the smaller dosage). Overall, it was a very poor experience while the employees showed no respect for the 4 hours of driving it took to accomplish.

I had a great experience here so far, my last couple of visits has been horrible.I send lots of thanks and love to the Tech - Cat and the Dr. Barnes, both have been helpful in taking care of my fur baby Fernando. Dr. Barnes was thorough and was able to explain to me the information that I can understand.Tech Cat was so nice understanding and if she didn't know something she went to find out and I respect that more then anything.Thank you both kindly for helping me and making sure my Fernando is taking care of.

I'm new to the area. I arrived a little early for my appt. I was a bit late leaving, which was unexpected. I did expect to receive a detailed report from this visit, but I only got a receipt for a 7 day supply of medicine costing 60 bucks!! Overall... my baby is getting better. I would visit again
