No desire to shop at this location. Shopped at this location for 5+ and never had issues until the 2 years or so. Received immense attitude as I was not keen on their return process. I have no issue with their protocol in place, gladly complied to complete the return. However, the attitude given from employee was not necessary. This is not my first distasteful bout with this employee. I have witnessed others in vicinity given the same sour attitude when interacting with this individual. This employee often doesn’t wear her name badge properly or possibly does it on purpose but I will making a proper complaint when I have information needed.

Where do I begin. I went to return an online order within the 40 day return window in store all clothing eligible for in store return. First thing associate questioned a price tag on an item of 99$ clear on the receipt and my email receipt with proof of picture it was the same item. She said I don’t know what this designer is. Then she called another associate or what might have been a manager over because she did not know how to do an online in store return.
Then they begin to tell me I’m over the 30 day return policy. I said I have 40 days per your Tj Maxx corporate website and I’m within that timeframe. I went to show associate/manager and said please educate me where I’m going wrong as I see what the policy states that I have 40 days. She would not look at my phone and says I don’t know the policy I don’t shop online. What???? This is your job to know policy and why does it matter if YOU shop online or not. Then they said I need all the bags for the items they came in. I said I have an email receipt with barcode for returns and btw price tags on all item's. She said well this is easier for us your online receipt isn’t helpful.
They said as a courtesy they would allow me to return to original form of payment they were only going to give me store credit. I wish I got the names but I was so baffled I did not. I will never return to this store they were both condescending and even though I don’t look physically disabled I am and I even told them I shop online because I cant shop in stores I have to try clothes at home so I make sure to know all the return policy rules to the stores I shop at online.
My husband was helping me return the items but when he saw the mess of a return he couldn’t handle it and had to walk away.
Sounds like a training meeting is needed for online purchase in store returns. I was so embarrassed and made to look like a fool I’m not sure I could shop here again.

This Saturday 3/9/24 crew is what customer service is all about! From the moment I entered, the lady handling the raffle greeted me like I was an important customer. Then, as I am in the back digging around in a frenzy because shopping is a drug (LOL), I met Julie who was pleasant and informative, telling me all about the day's events and deals. Then, I'm over in bedding where I met Eric who was so sweet to take all my big items up front because I could not see over my cart (short people problems), and he did this twice. Wow! Then I met Patrice and Brenda at the register, both were soooo nice and accommodating, awarding me my raffle prize and giving me all the deals they could... just because. I had a nice time at TJMaxx in Seminole. :)
