I just came back from the rolling smoke tour and could not be happier with the experiance. All my expectations were exceeded and I left with a better understanding and appreciation of what it takes to produce THE best cigars in the world. Most importantly, I was truly humbled by the people of Nicaragua whom make this all possible. In summary, if you are looking for a cigar tour that gives you the FULL experience, than look no further. Thank you Dave Blanco and George for a trip I will never forget!

Just finished one of David Blanco’s amazing private tour of Nicaragua! What an incredible experience! Our group had such a great time learning about cigars, the culture, the food, and the people! We had 9 in our group and we couldn’t be any more satisfied! We look forward to our next tour with david again soon!

Just completed the Roll and Smoke tour with David Blanco. If time and opportunity to visit Nicaragua is available to you, definitely look for the Blanco tour. Besides seeing and learning about the tobacco plant, Faces tour also includes lots of other interesting places to visit that let you see a bit of the country.

Place advertised a job and sent me an invitation to come and meet them. Great! I made my way over there and as I pulled in (15 minutes ahead of my scheduled time) I noticed another lady get out of her car and go inside. OK, no biggie. A customer, likely? Waited 5 minutes and went in. The lady was sitting with a woman who apparently worked there and they were in mid-interview. They asked me to wait and vanished into a back room, where I heard them talking and laughing. I sat down to wait. Another woman came in behind me who was a city inspector, followed by another young lady...also there for an interview. So I waited. And waited. As did the other two people. A receptionist appeared and addressed the city worker, who then left. That left me with the other young lady who was waiting. I had two other interviews scheduled that day, so I waited as long as I could and then left them a note explaining that I had waited over 90 minutes and could no longer wait, and they could contact me if they wanted to interview still. (No sign of the receptionist lady at that point even when I called out to her, and the first two people were still laughing away in the back, so...yeah). I departed leaving the other lady still waiting. She may still be there for all I know. Needless to say I never received a reply from them. I wasn't surprised, just disappointed that if they had already set an interview with someone else for the same time, either do a panel interview or reschedule instead of leaving people hanging. A different place I interviewed had the courtesy to call me the day of the interview to tell me they went with someone else. That would have been professional and fitting here. Ah well.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to cigars. Mr. Blanco took the time to explain the various types and sizes. The experience was very educational. If you know David Blanco then you know he has great cigars. We visited his distribution center and it was great! I highly recommend stopping buy and getting some sticks!

We met the Ash Wednesday Cigar Club here and has a great time! David the owner is an impeccable host. My husband is the cigar smoker and really enjoyed the space and the evening. This factory has a retail side and a huge walk-in humidor. The place was packed so unfortunately, with COVID restrictions in place with social distancing there were too many people lined up to get into the humidor and we left before then. But we will definitely be going back. Go get them a try! They're a local business family owned and operated. Wonderful people and a great location. Go give them a visit!
