My neighbor always recommended ace to me. And also wanted to support the local business. But was disappointed was asked if I needed help as I walked in. But misled. I asked for something strong to hold kitchen sink to marble he to me to ask the marble business Nextdoor instead of showing me the product I needed and which they have. The marble guy Nextdoor wanted me to hire him and would not tell me what to usando let me do it myself. It was a set up from both. I got what I needed from Home Depot and got it fixed. And will spread the word
By the way the cashier at Ace was suspicious
And was trying to avoid giving me the receipt

I am a professional cleaner and I go to ace hardware for my special supplies that are usually hard to find and the employees are always warm and friendly and one day a cashier told me about some glass spray that is unbelievable!! I would like to thank her for being so kind and helpful

Shopped today and returned later to return a wall mount surge adapter and a plant. I had to cut open the adapter and was frowned upon as they were acting very strange about returning. I also had a plant- it’s an anthurium, also has many other names; flamingo flower, flamingo lily. I didn’t know this- and have a cat, so I wanted to return as the plant had no name on it or upc for me to read at the store. The female manager at first had a monotone mood and was strange telling me it was not a Lily and correcting me. Everyone thinks they know everything and it’s beyond me. To make a return, on the same day, have proof of it and be treated like I have to have approval to return? I can simply say I didn’t like it and your return policy is in black and white. I worked at Vision Ace Hardware for years. And boy- if I was a secret shopper you all would have failed.

I needed a key made as a duplicate for a generator. It was not a standard key. They took the time to try to duplicate it and used three of their blanks. I believe it was the owner who said it might not work so they did not want to charge me. He said if it worked just come back another day and pay for it. After they made the key, he then said don’t even worry about coming back. It turned out the time he took to make the key and it worked. They went above and beyond. It’s rarely you see such A level of service nowadays. It truly reminded me of back in the 70s When customer service meant something. I highly recommend this Ace Hardware store.

What a great local shop! It's amazing the amount of products they stock. Very friendly knowledgeable staff willing to assist at any time. They were bombarded with Hurricane Helene victims and volunteers for cleaning supplies and several shelves went bare. But they were restocked in just a few days. I love supporting small business in my area. This will always be the place to shop for me.

This location has a good crew, you just might need to ask for help if you want it. Not a bad thing, I get the sense they respect those that are trying to be DIY. But if I'm ever staring down an aisle I am always asked if I need help. They always have the basic things I need, and have had several specialty items as well. Check here first if it's convenient to you rather than drive straight to a big box store.
