Against neighborly advice, I booked a grooming appointment for a Saturday afternoon (first available, according to the grooming department). Price comparable to area groomers-----slightly cheaper. Most unpleasant individual I've encountered yet in a Petco-----in the grooming area, no less. Not fit to interact with the human public, much less the pets. Walked out before the 'stylist' could scowl any more fiercely; the forehead creases were beginning to resemble ditches. Life is too short to pay for ignorance, at the very least. By the way, the 'salon' was empty on a Sat. afternoon. I don't wonder why. Left a phone message for the manager on arriving home.

I asked for help in both the dog and fish sections. The same young woman took care of me and both times it was evident she had something else to do that was more important. She seemed bothered that I needed help. Maybe it's because of the worker shortage? If you don't have time for the customers why are you there?

I don't usually ever write reviews , in fact this is my first time ever doing this but my experience at this Petco was SO STRANGE . I got told by a very pretentious and overly dramatic woman that I was KILLING MY DOG by feeding him a certain brand of food . I was shocked . Granted it was just her opinion but she's raising her voice at me and I didn't want other pet people to hear this Lady screaming at me telling me what a horrible killer I am for answering her question when she asked me what i feed them . She then asked me what kind of dog I began to explain his ancestry and she blurted out " OH SO A MUTT" - disrespectful I almost laughed at her for being so dramatic but I definitely was offended by the way she treated me. I love my animals I went for advice and got a disrespectful opinion instead .

The staff here are wonderful. Joey (my dog) came home with a wonderful shine on his coat, ears clean and toes done nicely. The price is very reasonable. They work really good with him. He should enjoy it more but has separation issues from me.

Great store all around pretty much with the exception of having enuff supply for the demand in the dog food department. The thing is it's there brand that they carry. Fish dept girl is jamb up when she is not busy helping other customers and you have little time shebis big help. Best part overall is the gromming salon is the best around town by far on services offered and the great time scheduling with flex if needed by a the girls. They all seem to have had great training and it gets better every time for are dogs. The dogs love it so I love it. It's always a pleasure to go there. JP

I brought my mini schaunzer Romo to Petco in Sebring Fl to get groomed and ALL the groomers there along with the manager Barbara were amazing! They all work so hard and are wonderful people! They were so good with Romo they gave him the extra time he needed to not be traumatized.They give each and every dog that comes in the highest care time and even saw them give a kiss or two to the dogs that come into the grooming salon.Much love and good wishes to the ladies of Petco in Sebring Fl. My Groot is my baby!!! I don't leave him with anybody and I am very very protective of him. I was so scared to leave him the very first time he got his first haircut. Then Cheri came out and started petting him and talking to him and started making me feel comfortable. Fast forward a year and here we are. I will never let anyone but Cheri take care of my baby. Thank you Cheri for taking care of my baby. You are so awesome.
