God equips the called. Jason and Sarah are CALLED to this and you can see God’s hand all over their life, their land, their staff, and their family. I absolutely love these people, they have a dear place in my heart. Anything we needed from them, they made themselves available and made hosting a camp for a total of 175 people feel like nothing. It takes humble servants to do what they do and that’s what they are. One meeting with them and you’ll see the heart for them to create a space for people to meet with God. Beautiful property but even better people ❤️

We had such an awesome time here for a weekend retreat for our Taekwondo leadership team! The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Communication was great throughout and we had everything we needed. The campground is beautiful and well-kept. Meals were great! Activities were awesome. Our students really enjoyed the tubing. There is a great meeting space in the chapel with stage and plenty of room for the group to gather as a whole. We are already planning our next trip back!

I enjoyed my time at Camp Sparta. The food was good. They have a nice dining area and auditorium, both sized for about 80 people (?).I noted a few maintenance items that need attention, particularly electrical stuff.

We had a large group, family retreat at camp Sparta and it was the best time bar non that our family had. Food was great, gathering rooms were spacious yet comfy, the view of the lake was awesome. The fellowship was priceless

Jayson, Sarah and the WHOLE staff are unbelievable. This was our first experience and they made it way worth it. If you are looking for a camp or facility with amazing people you are at the right place!From the food, to the facility, to THE PRICE, to them having their own lighting and cables and cords for our computers and instruments.. Camp Sparta does it and has it all. PLEASE look no further and give them a call. You will NOT be let down!

A wonderful camp run by amazing people - but the amenities were a bit run-down and my cabin wasn’t ideal…but camping is all about roughing it, and it was worth it!
