We recently moved to Lake Placid and our home had new appliances from ABC that were still under warranty. The fridge didn't seem as cold as it should be so we called and they made a service call appointment. The technician, Tim called the day before our appointment to say he could get us on the schedule that day, last Tuesday. He arrived and took his time diagnosing our issue, told us they'd order the part and should be a couple days to get the new part. Yesterday morning, he called first thing and was at our home within the hour and fixed the problem. Now our fridge seems to be cooling as expected. Very pleased with the service here from start with the girl who answered the phone, (not sure of her name, sorry)and again to the technician Tim who was friendly and accommodating. Endless trouble. We bought a washer dryer combo that was an awful experience. The washer had to be taken away TWICE in the first three months due to issues. The finally replaced it (NO REFUNDS!), and the replacement has ALSO been terrible! Not to mention that the dryer takes forever to dry. We have finally just given up trying to deal with these people. Absolute waste of time and money along with months of frustration.

Delivered appliances to my new home and scratched the floor. Told them and they completely denied it even though it was right where the refrigerator was. I am now banned from their store for approaching them about it and nothing was done about my floor. Beware about having them deliver anything to your home. They will do damage and deny it. Terrible place to do business.

ATTN: any new or existing customers do NOT buy from this store!!! When delivering my appliances their guys put a huge scratch on my NEW floor-of course they denied it and refused to even address my issue. Both "managers" were very rude. They even lied about a conversation they had with people who were involved. Worst PR ever! Remember there are a lot of places to buy from don't waste your time ...move on to a better experience. New home buyers be sure to check where you're getting appliances from and suggest going somewhere else.

Almost bought the wrong part to fix my dryer. Larry asked me what was wrong and after explaining, he sold me the part he thought was bad with my dryer. He was right! I was able to fix it for around $40.00. Thank you for saving me money and time!

Good prices and appliances in stock, you don't have to wait, if you want, they will deliver it to you, but for an additional cost, the stove cable is an additional price.

I have used ABC ever since I moved to Lake Placid. I have always experienced really great service from them, but I felt like I needed to say something really nice about them today. My dryer wasn’t working and I called them on Monday, and they explained that they wouldn’t be able to get out to me until Friday. I asked them to call me if there were any cancellations, and they said they would. They called me today and Tim out and fixed my dryer for a very low cost. Thank you for the wonderful service, and for your great customer service. It’s truly appreciated!

Support your local business!! They were knowledgeable about the appliances in what we needed. Delivery was prompt, they removed the old appliance. The guys were careful and professional. I'll be returning and recommending ABC Appliances. Thanks for your help.

I was having issues with my dryer, and it finally quit working. I really didn't want to purchase a new one so I googled what may be wrong. It read that my thermal sensor was bad. I removed it and took it to ABC for a new one (very first time I have been to the store). I ask for a new one and the female at the desk said she wanted to test it before selling me one. She tested it and it was good. I asked what else could be the issue. She said it was probably the dryer door switch that went bad. She showed me where to find and how to check to see if that was the problem. Sure, enough that was the issue. She sold me a $25 part and I put it on, and the dryer works great. I appreciate the fact she shared some ideas on a fix and not automatically sell me a new dryer. I will guarantee when the time comes to purchase any appliances, I am going to ABC solely based on my customer experience. Thanks to the very knowledgeable female at the desk and the ABC appliances for your honestly and a $25 part to fix the problem.
