I have no issue with the care. Place is slow and disorganized. They clearly over book their appointments. I've been waiting an hour and a half just for glasses.

As a patient there for 3 + years and several procedures. on March 29, 2023 i tried to get through the stupidity of their receptionist for an emergency appointment. she would not put me through to Dr Winslow who was with patients. and according to her all others were in a staff meeting. This was at 1:45 in afternoon. she said the next day she would try to fit me in. I went to Cleveland Clinic emergency ni ophthalmologit's on staff. they scheduled me the next day with an office. I had suffered a retinal artery stroke. first hours are critical As i learned subsequently. Net Result i lost vision in left eye. I would not recommend them ever it was always crowded because of medicare. if it quacks like a Duck. maybe they could not have saved my eye but i will never know. could not get through their receptionist. If I could give a minus zero, I would. One of their employees stole my credit card number and ordered several hundred dollars worth of merchandise. It was traced back to the employee after several hours and days through the CC company and local police. No compensation or apologies given. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, one bad apple theory. I went through several tries of getting the correct lenses for my glasses and finally gave up. I had a contact lense Rx w them and instead of going somewhere else, I used them again because I had already paid for the exam. Contact lenses, what could go wrong? I was wrong! They sent me someone else's lenses, charged me for them and now I can't get anyone to fix the problem. STAY AWAY.....

My appt was at 8:45am and I did not get thru until after 11:00am!!!! I ordered contacts that same day (3 weeks ago). After 1 week I called and they forgot to order them?????? Ok, problems happen - I waited 2 weeks and was told they would be in Friday, September 1! - Still Waiting! Today September 6, 2023 I stopped by to check on my contacts and no one could tell me anything about them. The girl at check-in was so rude and I am sure if they are ordered my insurance has paid for them, but I have not received my contacts. I will be moving my business someplace else! Terrible Service! Riverside Eye you have gone down hill really badly and I have been with you over 10 years!

Buyer Beware at the Optical Center I brought a new prescription to them. The lab they used had difficulty making my complicated prescription. Every time I called, I had to beg to speak to somebody and when callbacks were promised, they rarely happened. To top it off, after about 3 weeks, I was told that my glasses couldn't be made and that they would return my old glasses. I got my glasses back with only 1 lens and I was basically told "tough". Do not believe a word they say and certainly do not expect anything close to customer service.

If you have nothing to do and like to spend lots of time in the waiting room, that's the place to go. Expect to spend at least 2 & 1/2 hours. The last time I was there I was the very last person left even some of the employees were leaving at the end of their shift. It never fails, no matter what you're there for they'll keep you waiting. A DOCTOR patient came late and was wisked in just before me . The only reason I had to go back is because of my insurance. Believe me if it were a choice I wouldn't set foot in that "clinic". They so overbook its abomination. At least two and a half hour. You can count on it.
