“Went in for an oil change. My car was having issues starting so I asked for them to check the battery. In fact I asked 3 times and was told the battery was fine. It wasn’t! In less than two weeks I had to replace the battery. It was the original battery and 60k miles. I was out of town and the gentleman at the place I took it took 2 minutes to check the battery which came back replace immediately. I don’t feel that your guys actually checked the battery. If they had it would not have been “fine”.”

“Sebastian Auto & Repair were fair and honest. I was on vacation from Virginia when my starter went out on us. Before leaving on our trip I had some issues with our '08 CRV starting. I had the battery replaced in VA and everything seemed ok through about half way to FL. after being in town one day, the car wouldn't start, or turnover, just a click. I called Sebastian Auto, told them I thought I needed a starter and got a quote. I also let them know I was on vacation for a couple of days there and they said that they could probably work me in the same day. I had the car towed in. They called me to let me know it had arrived and were diagnosing the issue. I receive a call back from them letting me know the starter was the issue and they were in the process of removing the old one so when the replacement came in they could go ahead with the install. I got a call later that day saying that the car was ready. When I came down to pay, I found out that they had been in business for over 40 years and that was a little more comforting to me. We got back to VA a few days later, I checked with my mechanic on the price and their price was in line with his. That was almost a month ago and the car is still starting strong. Thank you to these folks for getting us back on the road the same day and for not swindeling an out of towner. So, if you're looking for an honest repair shop, I would recommend Sebastian Auto & Repair Center.”

“Was there August 2 after lunch. Use this place quite a few times never had bad service. Ask for windshield blades they forgot them. Check my oil today. There is a mess on top of my cover and my washer fluid cap was missing.”
“Went in for an oil change appt yesterday. Friendly staff at the desk, got my car in right away at the appointed time. Once complete they informed me I needed new tires like yesterday. Glenn told me it would be about $750 and they could get the tires there in a few hours and it wasn't safe to drive my car other than to home and back so I agreed to return in the afternoon for tire installation. I should have asked the specific brand and type of tire so I could do a price comparison but I didn't do it at the time. Returned at 3 and tires were put on quickly. I was given the total and I paid but when I got home I went to review my receipt and I realized there was no breakdown or description as I was only given the 2nd page of the receipt. I called the shop to get the details on my new tires and then looked them up online to see if I got a fair deal. I called another auto shop where we also frequent as well as comparing online retailers. It seems St. Lucie charges the high end of these Toyo tires. We could have saved a little over $100 compared to Walmart and C&D Auto but I didn't have the luxury of time to research since I was told "I needed them right away". The service was friendly and efficient but price does matter and I will definitely price shop next time.”
“Unfortunately, my trusty 2011 Camry has required several emergency surgeries (AC broke the peak of FL summer, radiator just giving out a little while ago...) in my first year owning it, but luckily enough, he ended up at D&S Auto Repair.
Honestly, customer service is 11/10 ⭐! Everyone has been super friendly, accommodating (I'm a grad student on a tight schedule), and when I had him serviced, Dave called me after the inspection and broke his findings down by what needed to happen, what should happen soon, and optional services. They are also very upfront and transparent about the costs, which have been very reasonable every single time! Highly recommend coming here to get your car taken care of!”

He discussed what product might work best for us and took measurements. He left a couple of tint samples for me to consider for my commercial windows and will be emailing an estimate for the work.
I didn't know it at the time, but Mike turned out to be the same guy that several of my family members and their businesses have worked with for years and have always had a great experience.”

“I live in CA, and my disabled father lives in Sebastian, FL. His Chevy Equinox has been giving him trouble. Another mechanic shop was unable to diagnose several issues causing the car to lose power. Eventually he transferred the car to Transmasters. This family run business has gone above and beyond to make sure my dad's car is running safely. Needless to say they fixed the issue.
I went to the shop with my dad to pick up his car when I was visiting last time. There was absolutely no upsell, and there was significant extra time and work put into his car beyond the scope of work without extra cost. They took the time to show me all the parts they replaced and explained everything thoroughly.
When subsequent, unrelated issues came up, these guys saved my dad dealing with tow-trucks and drove out of their way to his home to diagnose the problem on site, and take the car back to their shop.
It's difficult being so far away from my dad, and it's a worry not knowing if he's being treated well. The treatment he's getting is 'family' level attention, clearly taking into account his circumstances in a way that goes way beyond standard service.
Decency, care and professionalism aren't always easy to come by. I recommend these guys from both a personal and quality of work level. The peace of mind knowing my dad is being taken care of is invaluable.”
“Took my Ram 1500 to them with a split exhaust manifold on my Hemi. Don't be fooled by their name. These folks are just as good on gas engines as diesels. The best thing about them is they are honest hard working professionals. Drive the distance to Sebastian if you want your vehicle fixed right the first time.”
