I just left the Dollar Tree at Sea Ranch. First of all let me say, “I have shopped there for years and am a good customer!” Today I took my 6 y/o grandson there to get a toy and something to put his “valuable” shells in. He is visiting me. We purchased a $5 remote car. We got home and I could only get the remote side open to put batteries in, which I also purchased. The car side would not unscrew. It was stripped before I even tried. So, off we go to return it. The cashier named Linda was SO rude that I was actually in shock. She came at me right out of the gate nasty. She said “you can’t return this it’s damaged.” Well, Linda, I was nicely relaying that to you. I did not receive a receipt from the nice gentleman that waited on me just 30 minutes prior. They didn’t have singles and I was digging for exact change and no receipt was given. Linda rudely said I had to deal with him. It’s not the $5, I have bought many things (candles at Christmas) that didn’t work and I just bit the cost. This was different because my grandson wanted that toy. Linda should not be the face of Dollar Tree. She did all of this in front of my grandson. Shame on you Linda! You would think it was coming out of YOUR pocket.

Customer service is horrible. I will only return because of the cheap price, not expecting help yet an attitude for disturbing an employee for assistance.

Service is horrible. Their is a small older Spanish women with the worst demeanor I've seen in awhile. She doesn't smile at all and always gets annoyed when someone ask a question or if someone's card declines like I WITNESS TODAY!! I mentioned to my husband that I hated going there. Always a mess! On top of the fact there is always one cashier.
