“Got a same-day appointment for a very sick elderly cat. Dr Zimmerman took time to make a thorough exam (including inside the mouth) despite the cat behaving badly (claws and teeth). She prescribed a course of treatment based on her 35 years of vet experience - including using chicken baby food to entice the cat to eat - which has brought the cat through so far. Staff is easy to work with and tailors treatment to the desires of the animal custodian.”

“Short review: top notch veterinarian establishment. Got me in the same day on multiple occasions, which is largely unheard of.

Long review: Just moved back into town recently and I've gotta say, Aloha is top-notch. I live 30 minutes away in Palm Bay and I will deliberately make the drive.

I have a 15-year-old kitty with beginning signs of kidney disease and needs her anal glands manually cleaned every 3-6 months. Today I called to schedule appointment to see what I can do because I'm leaving tomorrow for a retreat and wouldn't be back for a couple of days. Crystal at reception got me in if I could arrive within the next couple of hours of our phone call. When I arrived I was only there for less than 15 minutes. The fact that I was in-and-out is also very rare and is something I value and appreciate, especially at the vet. Because no one wants to spend their whole day in the waiting room.

Kiki also has flea allergies, and this is the first vet I've ever taken to who suggested Benadryl and gave Benadryl shots. Oh that's I have previously been to only have offered allergy shots which barely work half the time, well not working the other half at all. And to my surprise Benadryl did work for her, just takes a lot longer to kick in.

We're still new patients here, and so far I've gotta say I'm very pleased with how this business operates and the knowledge of their veterinarians. I've learned more in my two appointments than I have at other vets that I've been to in Orlando.”

“Moved here in July and had a current client recommend this office. We have only had 2 appointments, her annual and her allergy shot. Friendly staff, clean facility, didn't have to wait on a room forever to get to see a doctor. Overall positive experience!”

“I just felt compelled to write a review for this great clinic and its staff. We do not think of writing a review for just everyday experiences with our pets. Well I just had to experience one of the hardest things in my life by making a decision to let my precious boy go due to the findings of metastatic cancer. What a heart wrenching experience that just came on so fast. Dr. Colton made SURE that my boy was comfortable and was so respectful of him and the agony I was experiencing. She and her assistant went above and beyond while dealing with their emotion of the situation. See my boy impacted people with his gentle soul so his loss was impactful. I had him cremated. Yesterday I had to pick up his ashes from the clinic which just reopened the wound of such pure heart break! Again, they were so kind and compassionate. I expected a pretty hefty bill due to how Dr. Colton took such personal time and care with the day I had to let Diesel go along with the cremation. Dr. Colton charged me NOTHING for that day!! I paid the bill for the cremation only. The cremation package was such a precious gift that came with his ashes while also being so painful. The clinic sent a sympathy card which everyone had written a note along with my sweet boy's paw prints. It is great to find a clinic that you can take your sweet babies to for their care but to find one that performed such as this one did when finding myself in one of the worst places of my life, that is priceless and deserving of recognition. What a compassionate group and Dr. Colton was always honest about the circumstance and respectful of my decisions through the process. Thank you Island Animal Hospital on Cocoa Beach for your kindness to my precious boy and memorializing his life!”

“My dog was sick with stress colitis and she wasn’t getting fully better so I decided to bring Jessie into the office as a new patient. The Doctor was incredible and so was the vet tech who assisted the doctor the whole time. All of my questions were answered, they provided tests on everything to ensure every avenue was pursued for my dog’s safety and care. The tests were completed and medicine given in a good turn around time. The front staff was kind and everyone on staff was compassionate and helped with any needs. My dog was comfortable and didn’t seem to be too stressed out. She liked everyone she met and as stated above, the staff was amazing with handling and care of my dog. Very accommodating. Overall it was a 233 dollar visit, but well worth it for all the services and medications received for my dog! 10/10 will be my new vet.”

“The best Animal Hospital! Susie the front desk receptionist makes your practice, her caring heart and wonderful personality makes you feel so welcome! The vet tech with red hair (sorry forgot her name) was amazing she was so gentle with my dog and very understanding. Now the vet Dr. Melissa Floyd was the best vet I have ever had! She is unbelievable! Her bedside manner is so caring and loving! She treated my dog Sparkles with such compassion, took her time assessing her and answered all my questions. This was was the best experience Sparkles and I had at a vet! Highly recommend this practice!”

“The check in staff, vet tech and vet were all kind and considerate. The vet tech was patient and gentle when my pup vomited and cuddled him while I paid my bill. Dr Hammet explained the results of my pups exam and answered all my questions. We discussed the options available to confirm and treat hiis diagnosed issue and provided the names of potential surgeons. The meds he ordered worked like a charm to alleviate my pups pain. This was my first visit and I’m happy to know they are 24/7 if needed.”

“After a disappointing experience elsewhere, I made an appointment with Rubio Pet Hospital. I'm so glad that I did! My four year rescue cat is anxious at the vet and I was sure to mention that in making the appointment. The clinic is well-staffed. There were cats and dogs there, some families with both which was a good sign to me. I enjoyed chatting with the pet owners and got a few dog compliments in before being called back to the exam room. Kaitlyn (sp?) was very kind and patient with Luna. She and Dr. Rubio were as efficient as they were compassionate in examining Luna and administering her vaccination. I appreciated them going the extra mile and giving me options to best address Luna's needs. I'm very grateful.”

“I absolutely love coming here. I got my cat Maverick about 3 months ago now. He’s my first pet I’ve ever had on my own. He came to me snotty and with lots of upper respiratory issues. In true new mom fashion I brought him back to these guys like twice a month trying to figure out the problem. Dr.Mcleod explains everything and is so knowledgeable and she discovered that he has a cleft palate!

Dr. McLeod, Lourdes, karen, Sarah and the rest of the team have been so incredibly kind and patient with me. They are the best around! Each one of the crew is so knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. You can tell they care so much about each and every patient.
