Very rude customer service, was interested in a cute diamond piece for my wife with a moderate budget ( 500$ ) the female sales person commented that I wasn't looking for classy and she wouldn't let her husband go out dressed like me. After picking out a ring for my wife I asked to try on a a simple wood banded ring to match my outfit for dinner tonight in there 75$ case. She talked to me asked what I would be interested in and then walked away from me when I women came in to resize the handle on her cup, after 3 minutes of waiting she returned to help me at which point I told her I no longer wanted to try on a ring. She scoffed and walked to the register to make the sale on the diamond ring I picked out and after I told her I no longer wanted to make the purchase she walked away from the register and did not speak to me. Very disappointed as I saw this place had great reviews and went in with high hopes. To all future customers just remember these people want your money and work off commission! Thank you for reading.

My friends and I went into the shop to look for Mother’s Day gifts and were surprised at the abundance of styles and options the store had. They have some great marine themed pieces and I’m sure almost anyone could find something that they love. I was super glad to find out they were also able to fix my broken glasses. I would have been happy as long as they could stay on my face but they were even able to repair the hinge like they were new. All the workers were super helpful and nice as they helped my friends find exactly what they wanted and fixed my glasses.

I went in to look at some jewelry for Mother's Day, they had lots of unique options with lots of different styles (if you want marine jewelry this is the place). They also do repairs so I decided to go out on a limb and see if they could fix my glasses. They agreed to give it a shot and see what they could do. Because of the TV they had set up, I see my glasses being fixed in real time. Not only is the arm fixed but it can close all the way again, even after my many prior super glue attempts. The employees were super helpful as we waited and showed us some of their jewelry from local artists. Everyone was super nice and talented!

Was strolling through Sarasota and stopped in Zemil's just to look and I ended up with a beautiful ring. The staff was very patient and helpful. They also sized my ring the same day! I don't live in Florida but highly recommend them! They have beautiful boxes too! ☺️

I went in to sell a 14k white & yellow gold diamond necklace that someone bought for me and paid over $6 grand for. The owner Mark offered me only $900 for it. It was pretty insulting when an Antique store on Fruitville Rd already offered me $3,200 for that same necklace. When I went back to the antique store to sell them that necklace the owner Ken explained to me that he didn't even offer me melting price for the necklace or even consider the diamonds that were in it! I wish I could remember the full name of the store on Fruitville Rd but they do have a beautiful mural on the side of the building and a sign always buying.

I searched for years to find a jeweler I trust to care for my existing jewelry as well as for new purchases and custom designs. Mark at Zemil Jewelers fit the bill. He is the best! Great customer service, fair pricing, great selection, and expert craftsmanship. I have purchased several beautiful, high-quality pieces from Mark and love them all! I get lots of compliments on the jewelry. He even turned a vintage diamond brooch into a stunning necklace for me! If they don't have what you want, Mark will work to get it. Plus, he's just a really sweet man as is all of his staff. I can't say enough good things!
