Had a difficult time trying to get a price on a car I knew I wanted. Contacted them multiple times trying to compare the price with my local dealership in Tampa bay and both times I was told I would get a call back with some info and both times I got no return calls.

How do so many people have good experiences at this location yet mine was total crap? Maybe it's because I walked in as a single woman without a man by my side or the fact that I was dressed casually as opposed to all the other customers there who "looked" like they had more money (a big mistake on their part, if so). I went there hoping to find an NX350 Hybrid. I was immediately told they didn't have any, and they didn't seem too interested in helping. The initial attitude was just not good. The lead salesman passed me on to a young salesman who was obviously pretty new. To his credit, he seemed to know a lot about the vehicles. He took me on a test drive of the NX450H.... Bigger than what I wanted but I was open to it. After the test drive, we sat down to talk details and financials. That's when he learned another salesman sold it as we were talking. I literally just test drove it. Horrible! That should never happen.
Then as we talked about finding the model I really wanted, I was told the NX hybrid models all sell before they ever arrive at the dealership, and they couldn't order one with my specs. They claimed to search the database to see if one was available anywhere else within a 1,000 mile radius. I was told absolutely NOTHING was available (I gave them 3 color options and a relatively small list of must-haves). They told me it could take months to get one. I want to believe this wasn't an intentional lie, but I'm not so sure about that now. As someone who is brand new to the Lexus and Toyota brands, this was not painting a positive picture of the brand. I walked out frustrated, upset, and even in tears after feeling like I was just another insignificant number in their very crowded showroom.
As I left the parking lot, I called Scanlon Lexus in Ft. Myers. Guess what? Yep! They had EXACTLY what I was looking for on their lot in a 2025 model.... Color, features and everything! It was nearing closing time, but within 45 minutes of a phone conversation and texts, we agreed on the price and signed an agreement. I picked it up today, and my experience in Ft. Myers is an example of how ALL dealerships SHOULD treat people but don't. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Scanlon. I was treated the best ever and felt 1000% like a valued customer. But I will never return to the Sarasota location again. Lesson learned. Photo is of my new SUV.... Thanks to Scanlon in Ft. Myers.

6 years ago I purchased our Lexus and have been treated with the best courtesy and respect possible when bringing my car in for service. Their customer support has ensured a life long customer for another Lexus when that day transpires.

This is my 9th Lexus. Tom McOmber has always been my sales person. He is the best!!
I always get the best service from everyone at Lexus. I don’t think I’ll ever get a different brand because you can’t beat what Lexus has to offer.

They have a guy that works there named Tanner. Tanner is unbelievable in that he remembers everyone's name after one meeting. I mean, he'll see you six months later & remember your name. I've never seen that before & I'm sixty from a big city. Lexus is very good, also.

I purchased a 2022 Ford Transit connect van from Lexus of Sarasota. I live in NJ and wasn’t able to see the van in person before I purchased it. They really run their business the right way. After we finalized a price and the sale was complete they even helped me get the van shipped to Fort Lauderdale. After I received delivery of the van I was disappointed that the van only came with one key and it was a valet key and there was a missing trim piece for the back door. But I called and there Sales Manager Mike Tovar did the right thing and set me up with a key company that they use at no cost to me. They even took care of the trim piece. Thank you Mike and the whole team at Lexus of Sarasota for such a pleasant car buying experience. Five Stars Bravo!

We had a fantastic experience working with Carl this past weekend while purchasing our Jeep Wagoneer! The whole process was easy going, we did not feel pressured or haggled during negotiations. We feel like we got a very fair deal and every staff member was friendly. Carl was knowledgeable and pleasant. He even called us a few days after the sale to make sure we were happy with our purchase. I highly recommend this dealership!

we were shopping for a new car from south florida & reached our this dealership for information on a vehicle they had in stock.
due to the distance we live from this exact dealer it was just too far to make the trip.. but had the pleasure of speaking with chris wolfe over the phone & email, he worked so quickly for us.. was knowledgeable & extremely kind. answered all questions for us as well.. so what that being said if you’re in the market for a new lexus or used and happen to come to this dealership ask for chris.
