Honda of Sarasota has proven to be the dealership it is rated as online. The entire staff I met at Honda of Sarasota was courteous and helpful making my purchase. I found the perfect model Honda Accord I was looking for and got the deal anyone would be happy with. Also Honda of Sarasota offers something unique to other dealers and that is a LIFETIME WARRANTY with them for as long as I own the car! That was worth a lot to me.
My product specialist was so helpful in getting my new Accord ready for me. He personally followed through after the sale getting the additional accessories installed on my new Honda and the car was detailed and shiny as you would expect a brand new car to be.
I certainly will be returning to Honda of Sarasota for all my maintenance needs too.
I highly recommend this Honda dealership because they have proven to me that customer service is at the top of the list.

Everyone at the dealership was friendly and the vehicle I purchased is great but in terms of transparency, I can’t say I was 100% satisfied. I was specifically looking for a Certified Used Honda. I’m from up North where a Certified Used vehicle means you get warranties and GAP coverage is automatically placed on if a vehicle is being financed. I went in to get a 2022 Honda Accord with 17k miles. The first set of paperwork I signed with the Salesman specified that the vehicle did come with a 7 year warranty/up to 100k miles - great. I then met with the Finance manager to sign the final documents and I noticed they changed the paperwork to show ‘no warranty- as is’. I questioned the Finance manager and he said the salesman made an error on the initial paperwork I signed and they fixed it themselves. Behind my back though? That’s when they told me the vehicle was not a certified vehicle despite the website listing it as such. If I wanted the warranty, I would have to pay extra (perhaps that’s an FL thing?). Apparently warranties are for brand new vehicles only. I also noticed GAP coverage was not included which surprised me given the crazy drivers and floods FL gets. Ultimately, my monthly payment was more than initially discussed once I added on the warranty and GAP coverage. I also never got a spare key for the vehicle which I thought was odd. I called the receptionist there and was told only new vehicles come with spares. So where does the second key go once the vehicle is no longer deemed new? Overall the car runs great and people there are nice, just be sure to read everything before signing!

After being played with by another Honda Store, I decided to call Honda of Sarasota. I was paired with Robert Montgomery, and let me say, he is a true professional. He listened to what my situation was, and far exceeded expectations. He and Jorge sold my father a 2025 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid for nearly the same price as the other dealer was trying to sell him the base Civic Sport. After explaining to Robert, Jorge (GSM), and the other dealer that I was in the car business, and I didn't want to be jerked around, Honda of Sarasota is the dealer that listened (I drove 1.5 hours not to have my time wasted). They sent the paperwork via docusign, and boom, we were done. If you want to get a straight deal, and work with professionals, come to Honda of Sarasota and when you arrive ask for Robert Montgomery, you won't regret it.

I purchased a used (2023) car from Honda of Sarasota. Overall, I am happy with the car. The service I had was unacceptable. I bought the car on a Sunday. I was told they were going to detail the car and it would be ready Monday. When I go to pick up the car, I was given one key. It was not disclosed that there was only one key. I go to get in the car to drive my car home only to open the door to see dirt all over the floor mats. The car that as supppsed to be detailed was not even wiped down or vacuumed. There was tape still stuck on the window from the window sticker. I went back in to ask why the car wasn’t detailed and the salesman said he brought it back to be detailed but it wasn’t. He went and vacuumed it and I drove home. The first thing I did when I got home was take the rubber floor mats out of the car to replace them with the carpet mats that I saw in the trunk when I was looking over the car. Come to find out, there are only 3 mats. The driver side mat is missing. I text the salesman and he tells me the car is sold “as is”. I would not have purchased the car knowing a key and a floor mat are missing. I would not have made a deal knowing they wouldn’t provide these essential items. Next, a few days into driving the car, the “oil change” alert comes on. I did get one complimentary oil change so I scheduled an appointment to get my oil changed only 2 weeks after buying the car. I spent 2 hours today waiting on my oil change. The person servicing my car didn’t have much explanation about why the car was sold without being serviced. He just said it came from another store. I finally come get my car to leave, again the driver side floor is covered in dirt. I definitely do not feel like a valued customer and am very disappointed in the way I have been treated.

Called three dealers and while they were all very nice to me, the manager Jorge at Honda of Sarasota had the car I wanted. When I arrived, the price he gave me was exactly what he quoted me with no other fees at all! My product specialist was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Everything that I was entitled to that came with the car was included at delivery. I would highly recommend this dealership. Their reviews are excellent as well. Customer service today and buying a car is much different than it was in years past. Honda’s are fantastic cars and they make sure the dealerships that represent their product conduct themselves professionally and with product knowledge. ?

We had a positive experience during our morning spent at the Honda of Sarasota dealership. We had Nicholas Ouellette as our salesman, and he was a delight to work with. We appreciated his casual, yet very informative and helpful style of approach to assisting us with our vehicle purchase. It was a pleasure overall to work with Nicholas as he was very patient while my wife and I tried to decide about what model of vehicle would best meet our preferences. We also had a great experience working with the manager Dan when negotiating our trade in value to reduce the overall purchase price of the CRV hybrid. John made the signing of the final paperwork a smooth event. We highly recommend Honda of Sarasota!
