The store was clean, well stocked, and organized. It was easy to find what I was looking for, and the employees were a great help as well.
One employee specifically, stood out to me because of their warm and genuinely helpful demeanor. I feel the gentleman employee Victor deserves recognition for their work ethic and attitude.
While I was roaming the store trying to find what I needed, I could hear him offering help to many of the other customers - everyone who walked through the doors, actually. Rather than responding as if it was a nuisance to him, or seeming like he was too busy to care, he treated each customer with the same respectful and helpful attitude, making sure to answer various questions for anyone who reached out to him, and even being intuitive and offering aid to those who hadn't asked yet (myself being the latter).
He went above and beyond to help me with my issue and seemed to do so for others as well. He greeted everyone warmly upon entering the store and was quick to offer help and advice or tell you where to find what you needed. He was kind, professional, and knowledgeable and made shopping at this (University Parkway, Sarasota) location a pleasant and easy experience.
For this reason, I would definitely return to this location (versus other locations I have visited, where the employees seemed unhappy and unwilling to help customers, quick to disregard your needs as a customer, or simply lacking common courtesy - which should always be extended to others). So simple, but these things really make a difference.
Thank you, VICTOR, for your help and positive demeanor, & please know it was fully appreciated - You truly are an exceptional person, and a wonderfully helpful employee.

Staff that work here don’t care for customers specifically Pharmacy staff. Rude and bad attitude every time. Sad for patients not a good place to get your medications.

We came into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy manager/Nick was extremely rude in the way that he told us that the prescription was one he didn’t have in stock. His tone was one as if we were a bother to him. He didn’t offer to order the injection, instead rudely dismissed us. We were at awe to learn that he’s the manager. He surely isn’t setting a good example for his staff. When we contacted our doctor we were told to go back to Walgreens pharmacy and ask them to do their job right by ordering the injection. Service there was a pleasure, but not under new management. We’re now discussing transferring our prescription needs to CVS. Sad after doing business with Walgreens for over 25 years and 10 years at this location on University Pkwy Sarasota.

Well for all I can say I got hired over a month ago manager of the store was great , until I met my imidiate supevisor. I believe before you train you fill out information but no she got me on the floor and the other 2 training was doing the classes wish it got mess up by accident. Aside I had an appointment before being hire little far so I told her yes I call to let her know if I make it . Well she had way of talking so yes I never went back . Till this day all those hours I train for nothing never got paid for. Now other walgreen wanted me . No thanks was my first and last bad experience working for them . I learn my lesson . It like u didn’t feel the vibes working there . They could had at least send something by mail as never took my social and I’d or anything . Just be careful if you try to work there.i wish there were zero stars

This place is God awful. I'm on pain meds for my back and had to move my scrips to them because my old pharmacy closed. I so I've lived without medicine for an entire week and now I have to wait until at least Monday to get another refill. If I could give them less than one star I would.

Although I'm not feeling the greatest right now, and the last thing I truly wanted to do was take the time to leave a review, I felt that Christian working in the pharmacy deserved a shout out!He was calm and collected, although he was clearly busy and seemed to be the only person running around the pharmacy... He knew the answer to every question I had and although I had to come back for my prescription, it was ready exactly when he said it would be and surprisingly enough, he remembered my name and even a few extra things I had asked for from our conversation earlier. Incredibly impressive! Great customer service, and you've got an amazing memory, Christian! More techs should strive to be like you when they are busy/stressed. I'm sure it's difficult to remain calm when you have so much going on at once, but you did a great job of making it look easy.I've been using walgreens for years and have been to many where I received half the customer service and they had twice the employees working. No one likes being sick or having to get medication, but at least Christian and this walgreens visit made things a little easier and a little less stressful (than they normally are dealing with other walgreens).

Pharmacy and retail staff are friendly and professional in their help. Never had a problem for the 2+ years I've been going to them. Side note: their card and family/kid aisle has some great finds in it.

Absolutely terrible service. No manager onsite 5pm on a Saturday. So nobody would make a decision regarding my problem.(a bad product I was returning). Waited 20 minutes for a manager to call the store back. Nobody called. I left. I will not return to this location.

They used to be reliable and easy to work with. However, now they won’t answer the phone. Will put you on hold and continuously pick up, not say anything and put the phone back on hold for over 20 minutes.The pharmacists are rude and can’t be bothered with questions. Pretty sure they’re miserable in their jobs.They also haven’t had medications in stock. Don’t count on them letting you know that though or going with an alternative.Basically, the customer service is awful. I’m transferring all prescriptions to a new pharmacy
