I purchased my first two e-bikes (the last was flooded in Helene) from other retailers but when I wasn't getting the service I needed someone recommended Village Bikes. I just purchased my Specialized Como 4.0 from them and can truly say it was the best experience of my biking life! The staff and mechanic were extremely knowledgable and handled my every request properly and courteously. They get my highest recommendation.

Ed and Ryan were amazingly helpful, answered all my crazy questions and I got a great deal on a fabulous bike. I couldn’t be happier. Our family has been village bike fans for years, the fabulous service is our big WHY.

I (along with my husband) recently got into cycling. We were able to pick up some basic bike maintenance supplies here a couple weeks ago and everyone was very helpful and kind. I also got an iced latte that was just so, so good I have thought about it nearly every day since. We will definitely be back!

The dedication to customer service at Village Bikes is excellent. they have been servicing my bikes for several years and have gone above and beyond. When I recently decided on a new bike, they found exactly what I was looking for (it was no longer available, so they did a dedicated search!) I would highly recommend you put them on your list for sales and service!

EDIT: With all due respect, there are no excuses for bad customer service and a salesperson bad attitude. If the sales person was good I would have left and come back with the right information. Instead he had a indisposed attitude. Check your moods at the door, that’s what they say. I came in with a smile, left feeling bad. Your sales person might find all sorts of excuses, still he gave poor service. Period.
Original review: I ride my bikes every day. I have been shopping at Village Bikes since I moved to SRQ 11 years ago. I always enjoyed the people working here and being able to ask questions without having to feel judged or belittled by the employees and owners of the shop. Today was not the case. I did not see any of the people I knew and the only employee, Matthew was not nice. I am sure he can maybe fix bicycles but his customer SERVICE skills are terrible. Insufferable attitude. I ended up with the wrong tube which I will not even bother returning. I will no longer recommend this shop, I came to spend my hard earned money to buy products, not to be lectured by a guy half my age.

Very bad customer service. Bought a $3500 bike ten weeks ago with missing and defective accessories. Weeks later I stopped by with my bike and showed them exactly what was missing and defective. Stopped by today and the customer service person said bad past service was not his problem and that I should wait for someone else to return (half hour later). This company needs new staff members.

Josh was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with my bike purchase! The store had good inventory and he had me try out several options and adjusted my size. The staff checked over the bike carefully before sending me off happily with my new bike. Highly recommend them.
