I received a quote this morning and I just received a call from the "manager" at the Sarasota/Bradenton location telling me my "quote" would be approx. $1500 more after I booked. I used these people twice before but after today, never again. Price gouging!

This is the third time you have moved me, once from one location to the other and twice, when I needed to move large pieces of furniture in order to redecorate. Your people are the best. Really. Yeah they did terrible lol. Wouldn’t pay for them again. If you want people to take tons of breaks and bubble wrap everything for hours then hire them. They do barely any work, overcharge, and stop at speedway for breaks

Thank you for letting me know inconsiderate behavior is systemic, and not just the result of one or two employees with poor judgment. Oh, the perils of walking an extra 9 feet in a gated community where people drive 10 mph. It’s not complicated. It’s inappropriate to block driveways, and act indignant if a resident asks you to move. People have schedules, and medical emergencies can happen.
Do you train your drivers to park directly in front of two neighbors’ driveways, when there is an uninterrupted curb across the street? Or is that a lack of training? When I asked one of the men to move the truck across the street all they did was pull it slightly forward, away from my driveway, but directly blocking the next two

Every interaction I had with the Sarasota team of Two Men and a Truck was wonderful. The office staff (Letty) was organized and thorough and able to give me an estimate on the phone. The manager (Jared) came to the house to finalize the estimate. The movers (Matt and Iland) were friendly, quick, careful and prompt. The whole team communicated frequently and accurately - I was never waiting or wondering about any aspect of the move. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Sadly, they broke a couple pieces of my furniture and one of my vertical blinds. I didn't want to get the guys in trouble so I only requested a damage report on one piece of furniture. The Operations manager refused to pay for damages. The owner won't even respond. Also, the final cost came in quite a bit above the estimate, even though I told them exactly what was being moved - furniture only - no boxes.

Island and Matt did a fantastic job of moving us back into our house after floor replacements. They were both highly professional, and extremely careful. We could not have been more impressed by these two gentlemen. Guard them well, as they are an asset for Two Men and a Truck! Because of their expertise, we will use this company if we anticipate another move.
