Laura made me feel super comfortable and happy throughout picking dresses. I gave her some details of what I wanted and she came in clutch with endless amounts of options. Highly recommend this store to all future brides. Thanks Laura ?

Laura was fantastic and made my experience 1000% better. I didn’t know what I wanted and she was so patient and kind. She helped me try on many dresses until I found the one. Laura made me feel so comfortable and special. It was a day to remember with her and my mom and I’m so grateful for her help. Thank you, Laura!!!

Our hostess was incredible! She listened to the bride and really zoned in on her wants! We were not expecting for the bride to say “yes to the dress” but she did and is so happy. The place was beautiful, private, quaint and felt so comfortable there. Thank you for the awesome experience.

My stylist was Rachel S. from the Tampa location and I had the best time. She was so incredibly sweet and we hit it off right away. She picked me some amazing dresses and it was so hard to decide, but she helped me find a dress that I LOVE and cannot wait to get married in! I fully recommend asking for her as a stylist because she is encouraging, sweet, and amazing at her job!

Laura was very kind + helpful when I visited Truly Forever Bridal*EditHi thanks for responding to my friend’s review since my texts, email, yelp review, and messages on instagram were all unanswered. There must be some confusion if you are “scouring your messaging systems for correspondence from me”, as I have been doing the same looking for a response from you - as I’ve posted screenshots in my Yelp review, my email, and Danielle posted. I have found it very unprofessional to have no response throughout this whole experience. Regarding the budget, it’s not what the sale price came out to, and that my FMIL paid the amount over my budget. It was that I had already sent my budget and it was laughed at and I was told to “pick a new budget because there’s no gowns in this store for that price”. I would not say I was “certainly pleased” as I again texted and provided screenshots saying that I had major dress regret, had cried all weekend, and needed info on my dress so I could try to sell it. Only to find out the price tag was removed without my knowledge, which I still don’t know why that was done. The only reason I never touched this Google review previously was because I said in my email that I was asked several times for a review and I finally left one saying Laura was kind to me, which she was - and couldn’t leave another one after that. Since you decided to ignore all my messages and post a condescending comment to my friend - I am now editing my review. The shop was not 73 degrees, and every comment we made about how hot it was and if the air was broken was ignored. Take care and best of luck with business.

Posting this for my friend. This is SRQ location in July. As soon as we walked in we were hit with a wave of heat. That’s coming from outside in July in Florida. Immediately I knew the air was broken. I had been in contact with the same 2 consultants that helped me the day of my appointment throughout that week. We talked about budget and styles. When I got to the shop, the same two consultants were there, but it felt as if we had not exchanged any information. I got asked what my budget was - which was laughed at, despite me telling the consultant prior that my budget was $1,000 and I came for the sale. It was the last day of the sale. She told me to pick a new budget because nothing in the shop was $1,000. This was very embarrassing. I even said $1,000 again, because that’s all the money I could spend. This would have been good to know before coming to the appointment. Also, I mentioned all the pics I had sent via text message when I was asked about styles I liked. That was disregarded as well. They seemed to have no memory of discussing my budget or styles. Another thing that bothered me is that neither consultant would give me their input when I asked. They refused to give me any opinions when I asked multiple times. This was my first time wedding dress shopping. The assistant started cleaning the shop to prepare for it closing soon after I started trying on. I felt pressured to take advantage of the last day of the sale - which ended up being extended the next day. When it was time to take the “I said yes” picture with my friend and family, I asked to have a pic taken on my phone as well. The consultant told me no and said she would send it right then from the iPad. I wasn’t told the dress was nonrefundable until after I paid and was signing the contract, and I had to remind her to apply my $75 appt holding credit to the bill. I asked again before leaving for the picture. They were in such a hurry to close that they must have forgotten. For reference, my appt was at 4:00 and we walked out at 5:30. I sat around that Saturday and waited hours for the “I said yes to the dress” picture to be sent and messaged on IG asking for it, but received nothing until TUESDAY. Lastly, when I finally got my picture on Tuesday from the number I had been contacting the consultants through, they asked again for me to leave a review. I told her I was seeking more info about my dress (designer name) and told her I had major dress regret since the night I took it home and that I had cried so much from that Saturday-Tuesday. My entire text was ignored and 2 days later she asked again for a Google review while still disregarding everything I said. I would also like to add that I did leave a nice review on Google since the consultant was kind to me. It says Laura was very kind + helpful when I visited Truly Forever Bridal.I have fought with myself for about 6 months about if I should keep the dress, if I should send my complaints to management, if I should sell the dress… etc. Ultimately I blamed myself for impulsively buying it. Although I felt rushed, uncomfortable from the heat, and embarrassed about my budget - no one forced me to buy it. I tried taking it somewhere for alterations to see if she could make it so I felt beautiful, and she said several times, “it’s a beautiful gown, but you don’t look happy at all”. I agree fully that it is beautiful, but due to several circumstances I feel that I settled for a gown I didn’t feel like a bride in. Since I can’t return or refund my dress from TFB, I am trying to sell it online. It is frustrating that the price tag was removed from my dress without my knowledge and my message asking if that was standard policy was ignored for over a week now. It is much harder to sell the dress as brand new without the price tag on. Laura and Natalia were kind to me, and I do not want this email to cause anything negative for them. I am not asking for anything from them. I hope this can at least prevent it from happening to another bride.

After shopping around for a wedding dress for my December wedding, I didn’t want to settle on a dress I just thought I looked pretty in. After failed attempts of finding “the one” at other stores, I called and spoke with Laura, gave her the run down and made my appointment. She truly made my experience what I hoped it would be as a new bride and was so accommodating to my likes and dislikes. She put me in a dress that had my jaw on the floor. It fit me like a glove and was everything I wanted and don’t even know I wanted in a dress. After trying on 2-3 more I just wanted to be put back into the dress she ordered in for my appointment. Needless to say, I said yes to the dress and couldn’t have felt more beautiful. Thank you Laura for all of your help and consideration when picking out my dress ♥️

I am posting my email to the owner here since this email, my IG messages, and texts were all ignored Some things that occurred during my appt at the SRQ store in July. As soon as we came in we were hit with a wave of heat. That's coming from outside in July in Florida. Immediately we made comments about it being hotter inside than outside and asking if the air was broken and every comment we made throughout our visit was ignored. When I tell you sweat was rolling down my face and my back the entire time, I am not kidding. Most pictures I have, I had to put my hair up, my hair is wet from sweat, and my face is red. We were using our hands and any paper materials we could find to fan ourselves the entire appointment. I had been in contact with the same 2 consultants that helped me the day of my appointment throughout that week. We talked about budget and styles. When I got to the shop, the same two consultants were there, but it felt as if we had not exchanged any information. This would have been good to know before coming to the appointment. I wouldn't have scheduled the appointment if I knew this. My future MIL ended up paying the difference of what was over $1000.
