“I found Barbic via the internet without any personal reference from someone who had had work done successfully. Trying to find someone to trust with the recommendation to rebuild or replace a transmission in a vehicle is not easy, and I was super happy to find Gary. Gary was very knowledgeable with our particular vehicle (2003 Toyota Tundra) and I believe he did a great job of pricing out the various options and explaining the value of doing the job in different way. Ultimately, Barbic did a full rebuild of our transmission with new parts, instead of putting in a used transmission and is backing it with a warranty. The work was not cheap but I believe in the product and Gary's shop to back up their work. The truck drives great and was worth rebuilding the value into.”

“Exceptional service! I had a check engine light come on my van and needed same day help before traveling back home. They were able to help me immediately and run a scan to check the issue. After running the scan, they consulted me on the situation and recommended I wait to do anything until I got home. I was in and out in 15 minutes and wasn’t charged for the service. I made it back home safely and am very appreciative of their help.”
“Needed my trans fluid checked after a hose developed a leak. Goofy ford requires a check and fill via trans pan. Called several shops and said next week. Could not risk driving on low fluid. Called Ralph's and Steve said bring it in anytime and they will check it. Pulled into the shop and Steve immediately put the truck on the lift. All good. No charge. What trans shop does that? Not many. Great customer focus and repair service. Thanks Steve!”
“Honest people! I took my truck to a quick oil change center and they informed me that I had a pinion seal leak. They showed me what looked like fluid around the under carriage . I made an appointment with Ashton Auto to change the seal. I dropped it off in morning and got a call soon after telling me there is no leak and the fluid looks like mud. They could have easily took advantage of the situation but they are good people!!! They earned my business for life!”

“To whom it may be of help. I have known Jim the owner of 'Jim's Auto' since 1984 and not only sent my own vehicles to Jim's but I ALWAYS have recomended Jim's shop to any women who are needing their vehicle repaired. I have been a mechanic for going on 50 years and have yet to find a shop owner as knowkedgable and honest as Jim (The owner) . I found these reviews as I was going to call Jim since I've moved to Nothern FL. and my back has debilitated me. I'm looking at a five hour trip to take one of my vehicles to JIm as I have not been able to find a local reputable shop since leaving Sarasota. That includes dealerships. The only other shop I use is Val's in Cheifland, FL for the same moral reasons. Why go to Jim's while Val's is hours closer ? Because the repair is not covered at Val's and Jim is better suited. I am an ASE medium heavy master certified truck tech, master transport bus tech, ASE cert auto tech, certified in man carrying equipment for FP&L plus derricks etc. Certified welder, also cert. in HP steam pipe, a universally certified A/C tech., including certification in commercial chiller units. So, what I mean is I can speak no higher of any mechanic I know still living . Jim has always been a top notch mechanic, person and the most honest buisness owner I have ever known . The FEW reveiws that reflected otherwise is why I felt it nessisary to write this reveiw . The 'people' who work for Jim I cannot speak for as I don't know them, let me add Jim tends to be out working on customer cars giving them the best personnal attention and service he can as that is just .....Jim. “I wanted to share our experience. Our motorhome broke down and we called several places no one had any openings for months. We contacted Brian and explained our situation on getting back to Michigan as we were in a pinch. All I can say is they go above and beyond. From the start to the finish Brian kept us informed every step of the way. I highly recommend them. If you want quality work and customer service I highly recommend you give them a shot. “I was having problems with the Transmission on my 2019 Chevy Express Van with less than 50k miles on it. It would have been covered by the 5yr/50k mikes warranty, but I waited too long. I tried to get an appointment with the Chevy Dealer but they were not available for several months. Luckily I found a transmission shop that was able to diagnose the problem and repair it quickly. Highly recommend.”
“Had an unfortunate issue my car sucked in a lot of water and seized and wouldn’t crank or start and I just work that day and saw that Jim’s Auto Repair was down the road. Went over there a told them about my situation and without hesitation they sent one of there drivers there to pick my car up and take it to their shop. No appointments and they looked super busy but they took time from their day to help me out with my car and after an hour they had my car running in no time. “I had a great experience with Beiler's Auto Repair. They were recommended to me by a friend and raved about their promptness and excellent communication. I came to them for an oil change and suspension issue because my car was NOT performing well. After they ran their routine diagnostics, Mic called and informed me of the things I should fix and things I need to fix. For the amount of things wrong with my car, they were very reasonably priced and I got my car back within 24 hours. They even called a week later to check on the car to make sure everything was running properly. I will easily be returning back for any auto repairs/services and I've been recommending them to anyone that asks! Thank you for an amazing experience!”
