We had shopped for months for the furniture color and style we wanted for our new coastal home but none of the new or consignment furniture stores had what we wanted. In February, we finally went up to the the Unfinished Furniture Store in Sarasota, FL and found the style in exactly the right pieces but not the paint color. Mark recommended getting it custom painted by Dr Wood Furniture Repair in Punta Gorda, FL and then having it delivered to our home. The quality of the furniture is very good and the prices are reasonable so we were very happy to be able to get what we needed and grateful to Mark for the referral to Dr Wood Furniture Repair as Jeff, the owner, custom painted the furniture to match a paint chip and even stripped the black metal hardware and painted it to look like anodized aluminum, It was perfect and the service was great. Thank you Mark!I don't know what is wrong with Google, but it will not let me upload the photos of the finished furniture, but Mark has them by email.

Quality custom furniture at a reasonable price. The store owner (Mark) is very knowledgeable about his product offerings and keeps you informed on the status of your order. His work ethic is superb. I highly recommend this business.

The manufacturer can make things to meet your needs so you really need to know the dimensions of what you want. There are many choices available for tables, end tables, bookshelves, desks, benches, chests, etc.Real quality! The owner is very willing to help you.

Best Place to Buy Raw Wood and Bare wood Furniture. I purchased two solid wood console tables so that I could refinish and paint them in a custom color of my choice. The owner Mark is very knowledgeable and can order you just about anything you would want.The price was extremely reasonable for solid wood furniture.

High quality wood furniture and great customer service. Went searching for two dressers and were able to take them home the same day. Definitely worth the drive from Port Charlotte. Highly recommend- we will be back.

We bought our house 9 yrs ago and needed a pantry. We went to Unfinished Furniture and ordered one of their pantries with some modifications. It arrived fairly quickly as I remember and w/o blemishes or defects. We wanted it painted the same color as our walls to blend into the small niche we planned to use. The owner was very helpful both when we were shopping and in suggesting someone to paint it. Forget the name but he picked up the pantry, painted it, and delivered to our house. He did a great job. After 9 years the paint finish is still excellent, inside and out…no dings or nicks after daily use. Holds much more than we thought. Would recommend the store and the painter (hope he is still in business) without reservation.

Not your run of the mill wood furniture store. This place has tons of catalogs and LOTS of options. Mark is very knowledge about EVERY part and piece and option he has to offer. Don't overlook this place for that hard to find piece or just for regular furniture!

This place is great! I was looking and looking for a coffee table and couldn't find anything I liked until I went in this store. The owner showed me many tables that are solid wood, not particle board, that I could paint or stain any color I want. I would highly recommend shopping here.
