A little over a month ago they saved the life of my 10-year-old golden retriever. He arrived very unwell and had a high fever, but thanks to your attention he is now fine. Thank you to all the doctors for their dedication, they are all kind and make sure you understand the instructions well. Thank you very much?

Had a great experience this weekend at Suncoast Vet Specialty Center. Dr. Bean was professional, compassionate and efficient. He was very gentle with my dog and although I got bad news he delivered it in the kindest way. I especially like that he got down on his knee to say goodbye to my dog when we left. So glad we have this option after hours for our pets. Vicki Fichter

Jackie and the team at Suncoast were thoughtful and caring for our sick dog who had a blockage in his intestines. Jackie specifically went above and beyond for our dog. You can absolutely tell she is there for the animals and LOVES what she’s does. KUDDOS ??? From the time we walked in the door until we discharged she was amazing.
My only concern on not leaving 5 stars was cost.. what this clinic charges for 12 hours was insane compared too what his actual surgery was at our primary vet the following day. They had our dog for a total of 16 hours (over two days) and the cost was a fraction.

Lily was very sick when she came in,on a very late weekend night. She was well cared for by the Drs., and the two techs, Jackie and Jasmine, who went above and beyond to provide her such excellent care. After she was discharged, Jackie called more than once to check on her continued progress.

Absolutely a wonderful place to bring your fur-baby in if you feel they are in need of emergency medical attention. Everyone there is professional, educated, and so very kind.

Our dog, Luna, received the most compassionate and professional care at Suncoast Veterinary Emergency Center. They treated her quickly and their calm demeanor and clear communication helped us alleviate our panic and anxiety. Not only did they address her medical needs they also showed a concern for her wellbeing and offered advice on Luna’s next steps and ongoing care. They were there when we needed support. We would definitely recommend and visit them again if needed.

I called on my way in, my dog was exhibiting dizzy, almost drunk behavior and I was really scared. The woman I spoke to (I believe her name was Digna, I’m so sorry if I misheard) was calming, kind, and offered great advice that made me feel much better about the situation. Having someone who can answer the phone and help ease my worries before even coming through the front door, especially for a late call made a huge difference.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUNCOAST VETERINARY EMERGENCY. INCREDIBLE STAFF & MEDICAL TEAM!!! THOROUGH EXAMS. If you want safe, effective and efficient medical care for your pet, GO HERE. EVERY team member in this establishment is extremely knowledgable, compassionate and kind; from the vets, the techs, the nurses and the receptionists; true angels. Three of my cats have visited this trusted ER & we will ALWAYS return here to receive EXCEPTIONAL care. We have frequented this facility for labs, X-rays, ultrasounds, surgical procedures; you name it..they can do it. Their exam fee covers all the bases to QUICKLY direct your animal’s needs to the NECESSARY testing and procedures. I brought my kitten, Trinity here, thinking she may have parasites; they did a physical exam, deemed her healthy and referred me to my primary vet for regular visits. I also brought my cat, Oprah here thinking she may have a UTI, they performed a physical exam, lab work and a sanitary shave at my request as well as administering the proper medications after discussion of costs and options.
They performed a successful pericardiocentiusis (draining excess fluid from around the heart) on my cat Charlotte. My cat felt better by the next day. They provided her with proper and effective medications for her home care; informed me in great detail of all of our options. I received an accurate and honest prognosis. Due to a terminal illness, I later lost my angel Charlotte and had to put her down at an ER closer to my home, in the middle of the night, bc she was declining so quickly and we didn’t have enough time to drive 30 minutes to this ER, otherwise we would have. Because of this establishment, I was able to have more time with my earth angel, If there is one thing I can say about this ER; they are ALWAYS RIGHT, ALWAYS HONEST and ALWAYS INCREDIBLE!!
This place is a blessing.

I recently had to do the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, put our precious Ginger to sleep, and the staff at Suncoast went above and beyond what I could have ever expected to make this more bearable than I ever could have imagined. I knew no one there and they had never met me before that night, yet their care and concern was so genuine, they did so much to help me through this most difficult time. They took plenty of time to explain the procedure and what to expect. I can’t thank them enough for all they did for us.
