This store Special Nutrition in Sarasota on Stickney Point Rd. is terrific. They have such a large selection of supplements and herbs and their prices are really the lowest I’ve seen in Sarasota. The ladies that work there were so helpful and knowledgeable. It really is a great place to get all your vitamins and herbs at a discount price.

This is a great nutrition shop with everything you could want. Great products and great prices. I do all of my nutrition shopping here. They even have gluten free and special foods products available in the refrigerated section. I couldn't be happier with the owner the staff and the products that I brought here. I recommend it to all my friends.

Been coming here for 5 years, found this vitamin store by accident when my wife and I were exploring Seista Keys and Sarasota. I've only had one bad experience in the past 5 years. I strongly recommend shopping at this store. They are very wise and know there vitamins and herbs. They will go extra mile to help you understand how the vitamins or herbs that your looking for will help you.

I have been coming to this place for years. I come here first always and if they don’t have it , they order. Excellent products and great help. It’s usually an hour in there every time. That says a lot given the ease of Amazon . I much prefer going to a place I trust and buy things in person.

Just stopped in the location for work (I take surveys for a living and was hired to ask a few questions at the location for a company that was hoping to get their products in the store). I had never been there before and was really excited to find it. I buy supplements regularly and would much rather support a local shop than buying online, so I was actually thrilled to find such an adorable store. I spoke to Bonnie at the front counter and am honestly appalled at her attitude and tone towards me. She berated me for wearing a mask (which I am required to do for my job) and was very aggressive with me. I get it, my job can be annoying to shop owners/employees but I always try to be respectful and kind. I don’t sell product, I don’t push anyone to do anything, I just ask questions a hand full of questions (takes about 2 minutes max). I can honestly say after doing this job for a year I have never been treated so poorly. The sad thing was I was ready to go back my car, grab my wallet, and purchase a few supplements I needed. Needless to say, I’ll never come back. Really unnecessary to treat other human beings that way.

We are always happy to patron here! We love the friendly and extremely knowledgable service as well as the amazing variety. Today Padmini and Melanie greeted us. We wandered all the aisles finding our favorite Dr. Brommers soap, supplements, essential oils and gluten free desserts. You simply cannot go wrong in this nutritional wellness mecca. A hidden gem! Definitely come here and support this local business. We will be back for the epic Himalayan salt foot dome. Must have!

several years I've been struggling w/Health issues, foods have declined in nutritional values, so I've learned the importance of a great nutritional center. It's been a few years ever since the 1st time I visited SPECIAL NUTRITION. Since then have no reason to go anywhere else to shop for Nutritional supplements. Even big cities, in USA, Europe, South America, can not even compare in price value and service. The monthly 'CHECK UP' or was it 'YOUR NUTRITION NEEDS' where outside lab for $50 bucks, take blood sample in front of you and shows & explains your needs. THIS is amazing service tells you more of what is going on or lacking in your body. Then like prescription staff take you around the store after the test and fill your order. BEST DEAL AROUND! MISS it since COV hit town the program stopped, hope it comes back as I have more people asking me when will they start the testing back up? I also miss and need to be tested.Last but not least, staff is friendly and very knowledgeable the products & prices no one can match, don't know how they do it. Even the owner is there and can ask her anything, but best to ask them about supplements, her son is also knowledgeable, but the staff is really amazing, they listen, they care, respond faster than a machine but they all have heart. Not smiling faces that fake their way though rather a good honest friend with knowledge, feeds you no bull, just the way it is baby!
