Sorcha was truly such an inspiration and joy to work with. This was my first time ever doing a professional one on one shoot with a dance photographer and I just had such an incredible experience. Everything she said during the process made me feel so good about myself as well as allowed me loosen up and perform at my fullest capacity for the photographs. And after all that I couldn’t ask for anything more than what the results provided once I received them. I am so happy I was able to make a genuine connection with her and share our love for creativity and art. Thank you so much Sorcha, I will forever cherish this opportunity.

Sorcha’s ability to truly capture her subject through the eyes of her camera lens is simply prodigious! She is kind, reassuring, patient and truly the most talented photographer I have ever worked with. If you need photos, whether for dance, career or even family photos, I highly recommend Sorcha! Her studio environment feels like you are in a studio in NYC and the results are simply enthralling. In this day of constant access to cellphone cameras, Sorcha has mastered the art of real photography! It’s worth the investment, trust me, you will TREASURE your photos! This was the first time I’ve ever shot with Sorcha and it was truly an amazing experience. She knows how to get the shot you need and will not hesitate to help you get it absolutely perfect. Both the process and the end result of Sorcha Augustine Photography's Free Form Flow package are beautiful. She photographed an improvisation session at her studio, and later, revealed the printed images in a brilliant, surprising way. Of course she has the eye and the technique to capture line and shape. More importantly (to me anyway), her reverence for the art form matches her subject's, which comes through in the images. Whereas there is usually some distance between what I think my dancing must look like, how it feels in the moment, and what the photograph ultimately reflects, this series demonstrated synchronicity between action and intention. I left the session so proud to see myself as someone devoted to movement, despite following an atypical path in the dance industry. There is no greater gift than to receive a renewed sense of awe and gratitude for one's body exactly as it is, and to have a visual record of endurance in a lifelong pursuit.

More than 5 stars if it were possible! I have to share my enthusiastic gratitude for an amazing 15 minutes of life intersection with Sorcha!She did so much during the session to make me feel comfortable, photographable (is that a word?! LOL), and magical. She has a beautiful spirit and presence, and I felt her pouring that energy into my life today during the session. As a result, I felt like she pulled something out of me during that session that I didn't even know I had in me.Sorcha also went above and beyond in working me to reschedule when a medical emergency with my daughter prevented me from keeping my initial appointment and I think we might have even tried a second time and failed. But today, it all worked out, and I am so glad I found Sorcha.For any photography, but I can especially speak to photography relating to artists and musicians....contact Sorcha. You will see that my review is not even "over the top" or hyperbole once you have a shoot with her.Thank you, Sorcha! <3(I haven't decided on my favorite yet, but am attaching just one of the amazing shots she took of me today!)

Loved my headshot session. I was encouraged to be myself and Sorcha was willing to do whatever she could to make sure I was happy with my photos. From the backdrop to angles and posing I felt I was in control of my session and I was given helpful direction. I was really happy with my photos! Thank you, Sorcha!

Sorcha is not only a talented photographer, but is also a person who can make anyone comfortable in front of the camera. Since this was my first professional photoshoot, i was extremely nervous but by the end of the session i felt extremely comfortable. Sorcha also took the time to explain the effect that different poses will change the final image, which really helped me decide which poses worked for what i needed.

I was able to work with Sorcha through an event at my university and OMG! I really enjoyed working with her as she was able to help me overcome my nerves as I truly believed I would not ever look good on camera. Honestly she did magic with what little I could give her in the moment and I am grateful for her time and would honestly work with her again.
