Mr& Mrs Shaw are wonderful hard working people with a fantastic attitude and provide excellent service. Years ago he helped me with sizing a watch band . Didn’t charge me for that, so I have gone to him ever since. A great experience!

Mr. Shah very honest. Gave women a check over $2,000 when she gave him a counterfeit $50.00 watch & lied to him. I had my engagement ring diamonds replaced & it is perfect with a guarantee. Even Walmart endorses this honest man.

Would not take my jewelry there for resale. Owner took advantage of our elderly mother undervaluing some items she wished to sell. She was desperate for the money and was moving very soon, so she accepted the offer. He thanked her for helping him because he had a hard go of it during covid. Thought it was quite inappropriate, as well. A word of advice... business owners should not make a habit of discussing political leanings with potential clients. Just sayin'.

Before moving appro. 20 miles south I lived near Shah Jeweler off University. Shah repaired numerous pieces of jewelry and replaced at least 6 clasps on my gold chains. None broke to this day. Now I needed another clasp replaced. The $72 being charged in my new area seemed exorbitant so I decided to drive the almost 40 miles round trip to Shah's. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! He replaced the clasp and told me that if I had any problems to bring it back. He did not mean these words and had no intention of standing behind them. Two weeks later while sitting at the dining room table I opened the clasp with my finger and the spring popped out onto the table. I drove the 40 miles again to Shah's. This man has no idea what "Customer Service" means. He then proceeded to tell me that this was NOT a mfg.'s defect but rather that I had either yanked on the clasp, gotten it caught on something OR had worn it to bed. Basically he called me a liar since I did none of these things and told him so...He charged me another $80 for a total of $120 invested in an inexpensive necklace. He kept raising his voice and insisted that I had YANKED the spring out. I guess he figured that by raising his voice it would give his theories more credence. THIS IS HOW HE TREATS A CUSTOMER? THIS IS HOW HE TREATS A WOMAN-a loyal customer over many years? Do not use this man!!! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. He deserves a minus five star review. (-5) WILL NEVER USE HIM AGAIN - EVER!!! Maria K.

We bought several pieces of jewelry, two of which were fine. But the third one was not. It was a brand new gold ring that fit my husband perfectly but the owner kept insisting it should have a "bump" put inside it so it wouldn't "fall off". We didn't think it needed it but he kept insisting. So we left it for a week to have that done. However when we picked up the ring a week later, it had the bump inside but it just didn't look right. The one we bought was bright and shiny but the one we picked up with the bump in it looked dull and different. When we got home and upon closer examination we clearly could see that it was most definitely a very used ring ... badly scratched up and even out of round etc. We took it back and were met with resistance on returning it. Eventually he agreed to exchange it and gave us the bright shiny ring we had purchased. He said the one we returned must have come from the factory that way which made no sense to us. Even tho he eventually replaced it with a new, it was an unpleasant experience. We won’t be returning to this business.

Had 2 pieces of Jewelry repaired, never called with a quote and went ahead and did work . Very expensive and not the way to do business, it left us no chance to shop around. Update that everything was made more than good and we are very pleased with the service we receivedWould highly recommend this business

I have since had to go to another jeweler to have the whole job redone. The new jeweler charged me 1/3 of the amount Shah charged and was shocked at Shah's greed and abuse of customers.
