The best dealership I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. My product specialist Mike Contoni was the best, knowledgeable in all aspects Mustang. I believe I received a fair trade price and a fair price for the vehicle I bought. The dealership is huge, lots of inventory, classy with its own restaurant, theatre, massage lounge. All associates were attentive. Again, thank you Mike Contoni for putting me into my second Mustang convertible.

Called Sarasota Ford today to talk to my Service Tech Matt Tarallo. But Calvin was the only tech working at the time. I explained to him that I had my 2018 F150 4X4 in a few weeks ago (7/15/24) for routine service Oil Change and tire rotation, in the service notes they apparently check my cabin filter that needed immediate replacement, but I was never asked. Now a month later my truck has a musty smell and my condensate drain is barely dripping water. So I ask Calvin if this could have been something that the mechanic could have done handling a dirty filter. In my research I have found it is quite common that filter debris can fall off of the filter and eventually clogging the drain. Calvin defending his mechanics and said there was no way they could have cause this issue and that I need to call the Service Department and schedule an appointment. Calvin had an attitude like he did not have time to listen to my problem quickly trying to dismiss me from the phone. I admit to losing my cool with him and told him in not so many words he needed to go back to customer service phone etiquette training. I told him how dissatisfied I was with him and his attitude and now my opinion of Sarasota Ford solely due to his lack of customer care professionalism. I asked him to transfer me to the service department an go figure nobody answered, so called back and the service department immediately picked up. In just over a month time I have driven only 216 mile and I do not park under any trees my truck is parked in the open in our the driveway 6 days a week, only driving 1 day on the weekends. Now, I have to wait a month for my Service Appointment. I hope someone reads this and will actually responds to me.
I edited my review on 8/31/24 and changed my review rating from a 1 star back to a 5 star rating, because Matt Coppens the Quick Lane Manager had reached out to me asked me to bring my vehicle back in so they could look at the a/c system and offered if they don’t find any other source of a leak to clean the coils and install a new cabin filter free of charge. I arrived this morning for my appointment Deniz initially started to write me up then Wally over heard our conversation and immediately inserted himself into my service as he had specific instructions from Matt the sequence of the pre inspection prior to proceeding with the cleaning of the a/c coils. Wally inspected my vehicle not finding any other sources of leaksthey proceeded with the cleaning of the coils and installed a new cabin filter. Wally called me and said for me to meet him at my vehicle where he explained that there was still remnants of the musty smell and he was authorized to offer me a ozone treatment which I accepted as bringing the vehicle back in a few days was not an option. This is the type of customer service I have grown accustomed to at Sarasota Ford.

I’ll start off by saying I usually try to stay away from dealerships when it comes to repairs for obvious reasons. But the service provided at Sarasota ford doesn’t even compare to any other dealers. They have been great, went in for some warranty work and Jamal got me taken care of! Not to mention he kept me up to date the entire way through. Highly recommend them, ask for Jamal!!
