I feel so lucky that I have found Sarasota apothecary pharmacy. Everytime I come in and leave I have a huge smile on my face. The pharmacists are very quick, efficient and always greet you by your name. Look no further cuz this is the best pharmacy i had personally experienced.

Since moving here four years ago we have been using Sarasota Apothecary for a compound for our son. They have the best service and super friendly staff! Could not ask for anything more!

I found this gem in the rough looking for a pharmacy to custom compound some troches (lozenges) for me. It was done quickly, professionally and reasonably priced. When I went north for the summer, they provided the formula and ingredients to another pharmacy up north. I would recommend them without reservation for your specialty needs. Conveniently located in south Sarasota.

The sweetest and most helpful pharmacy! So friendly and they are willing to work with you to help you with your “pharmaceutical frustrations”… billing, pricing, etc. Was so appreciative of the pharmacist Jillian’s willingness to listen and help without making you feel like a burden. Highly recommend this place!

I go Sarasota apothecary every month . The owner and staff are very helpful and explain everything to me about my prescriptions . The prices are great I haven’t found any cheaper prices. I’ve used this pharmacy for 2 years now and I live in Bradenton about 35 minutes away . It’s worth the drive . I will continue to always come to Sarasota Apothecary

I really like this compounding pharmacy. The pharmacist (Dr Dano) and techs are very friendly and knowledgeable. My physician sent the script for my cream and it was ready that day, My medicine was clearly explained to me and was topical so they ensured I knew how to apply it prior to my leaving as it is a bit tricky to put on. They epitomize customer service and many establishments could learn from their model.It is a much more personalized experience than going to a large chain pharmacy. The staff is efficient and my order was processed timely. I would recommend them!

Sarasota Apothecary is NOT your average "drug store"! Don't go there to browse for gifts and household items, they don't carry them. This pharmacy is focused on medicine. At my request, pharmacist Dr. Jillian Dano has reviewed my meds with me to look for interactions or side effects. She gives me my shingles, flu, and pneumonia shots. She helped me solve a big problem I had with getting medications during the many months we spend up north in Canada from May through October each year. They make and sell filtered cotton Covid face masks that are pretty, reversible, and can be hand-washed. Jillian and all the staff there are professional, courteous, and friendly. They are privately owned and can thus offer services that chain pharmacies do not have the staff time to provide. They accept most insurances and copays are comparable to chain pharmacies. They are a compounding pharmacy and can mix special prescriptions just as your doctor orders. They are located at 8620 Tamiami Trail S. Units N-P, Sarasota 34238, phone 941.218.4090; if this is not near your home or you can't get out due to COVID or mobility issues, they offer free delivery service.
