Lovely meal, chef always creates such wonderful dishes - loved the soup this week. Mark and Mike and Dino are great - personable and fun as well as top notch with great service. Sophie's is our "go-to" when we need a special lunch - guaranteed! Don't miss this one!

This is the smallest Saks I have ever seen. It's just blah. The cosmetic and fragrance dept is the worst in the mall and only sells snooty brands served by snotty sales "theys".

Excellent food and service. Beautiful place to lunch with ladies. I went with my husband who was very well pleased with his salmon tabouleh salad and bread pudding. The soup of the day was French onion soup which was delicious. Curried chicken on toast was flavorful with just the right side salad. Will go back. For us it is the best place to lunch in the mall. It was so pleasant.

Overall, great food. A little disappointed the server told us about the “birthday dessert” options so we picked one not knowing we had to pay for the “birthday dessert”. A little annoyed because we're from the hospitality industry and him suggesting to us “birthday dessert today” made it sound like it was on the house. Most places do a free birthday dessert so we felt like that was very misleading. Also ordered a cappuccino in the beginning and never got it.

This is the most consistently good restaurant in Sarasota. I've been here in Sarasota two years and have lunch at Sophie's at least once a month. Servers are fantastic. Food is delicious, always fresh, and thoughtfully prepared and presented. If something is not right, they fix it immediately with a smile. Want a delightful lunch in a calm and welcoming atmosphere? This is the place. Oh - and a very reasonable and tasty wine list too!

Restaurant week menu for lunch was delicious and creative,all but dessert which was a dry shortcake- ish square of cake with cut up strawberries on top. It was like the kitchen said, ok we put all our effort into the meal, dessert will just be mediocre. Service was more than outstanding, our waiter did everything well including bringing us a soup sample from the kitchen. Lovely experience!

What could have been a 1 or 2 star review is now a 5 star review, thanks to the manager, Ed, and Tanya, a sales associate working in the handbag department. Both Ed and Tanya went above and beyond to rectify a situation that was not properly handled by another associate the first time around. I did not walk in with high expectations, but they were far exceeded. I could take off a star for the original problem that occurred, which was very frustrating, but honestly I am happy to return as a customer and recommend it to others knowing that they care about their customers and provide high quality customer service.

I haven’t been to a Saks for a few years. The one I used to go was on 5th Avenue in New York. It never impressed me. Sandwich between Bergdorf Goodman and Macy’s, Saks, I think their Christmas light show is the standout.
Walking into this small one - two floors with cloth and cosmetics, I’ve a little wow feeling - maybe it’s the time of the day - afternoon; maybe it’s not crowded; or maybe I shop online for too long and glad in a physical store … The overall feeling is refreshing. Their decor is mute and light. Staff is ready to help.

Fabulous place for lunch, I always make a reservation since it's quite small. The food is always excellent, besides the ample menu choices there are usually some specials. Yesterday I had the crab cake special which came with a side of truffle fries. Service is wonderful, servers are attentive without ever being overbearing.

Its prom time shopping for high school girls and was told by an associate that they are out of stock on formal wear. Well I guess I will take my 2 girls elsewhere to buy their prom dresses. Need to get with it. Your gonna lose alot of business not having prom dresses n accessories this time of the year.

We are locals and have come to Sophies about twice a year and have always been more than satisfied On this visit the staff were incredible but the the shrimp salad was dry and lacked enough dressing and flavor The burger even tho we did not get the bacon jam was so greasy that it was almost un edible as were the truffle fries that even tasted as if they had bacon in the oil Anyway staff made the lunch tolerable but will most likely not return
