If zero stars was a thing this place would deserve it….the lack of knowledge or just professional courtesy is a joke…common things like checking voicemails is “too much” these days…anyway rant over still love Publix but the guy in the pharmacy should be let go

Horrible run pharmacy. They do not answer phone calls even when trying the main number. Highly DO NOT recommend. It’s not the pharmacy staff….they just need more help.

It's really just a very poorly run pharmacy. They are not concerned with HIPAA compliance as evident by how they loudly announce your medication for the entire line (which there always is) to hear. Then they ask again out loud for your date of birth and home address. This HIPAA information should be provided discretely via the touch pad screen. They are also visibly annoyed by anyone trying to save money using apps like GoodRX and would rather charge you full price by making the process very cumbersome until you give up. They are also not forthcoming about their manufacturers. If you are concerned about your medications being produced in countries with poor safety records and histories of carcinogen contaminated pills (e.g., China) then good luck finding this information out from this pharmacy. They will not tell you. Lastly, if you ever need to speak to the pharmacist over the phone, you will not. The phone will ring forever and nobody picks up.

Beware I stopped by and dropped off a prescription to be filled and waited while being completed,(not completed in time told) once done was told the price much higher than CVS so i canceled the order. I asked for my prescription back and they refuse to give back.

Martina is a miserable person who made a stressful insurance situation worse. I’m glad Publix isn’t my go-to Pharmacy. I’m not coming back here.

Horrible pharmacy. Extended wait every time you try to pick up a prescription. Pharmacists are rude, prescriptions that come in from doctor’s office just sit and wait for extended periods of time because “they just can’t get to it”. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. They’re “not taking new patients”. Refused to fill prescriptions for a 12-year-old child because they’re saving it for someone who “has been their patient for years”. So if you’re looking for a new pharmacy, this one is fine with the patients they have, don’t want any new ones. Also I’m a nurse and all of my patients who use this pharmacy as well as my own husband have trouble bc publix never fills their meds and never notified them when they are filled. They do call a million times for nothing however and they do charge for drugs they claim are free unless you catch it and inform them the drug should be free. The are THE worst pharmacy in Sarasota county by far!

Called today was there were issues with my insurance. I hung up took care of the issue and called back ASKED to talk to the PHARMACIST specifically and asked SPECIFICALLY nothing else. Was badgered by tech 3 times and which I told her to shut up, "because I asked specifically for the PHARMACIST". Now I'm the one that's rude when the tech kept badgering me while I was on hold for the PHARMACIST whome again I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR!!! no calll from the pharmacy to ask my side. I'm now no longer welcome to refill for being rude when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR THE PHARMACIST. Never talked to te pharmacist myself.

Absolutely useless, While Adderall IR is on a shortage and I’m trying to ascertain if they have it or not, They cannot disclosure if it’s available. Meanwhile, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, And independents are able to disclose this information. How am I to know if I can get a script filled without know if it’s in stock? Genuinely shocked because Publix is usually all about making the customers happy, But I guess the pharmacy is on a different playbook.

We are from out of town, and my child was sick and needed antibiotics. The female evening pharmacist was super helpful and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to provide quality patient care under the unusual circumstances we had with and out of town provider and our insurance not being contracted with the pharmacy group. Glad we visited this pharmacy.

I've always liked this publix until earlier today when their employee Allie, jumped in qoth a fellow customer and yelled at a man for being a Biden supporter, and the manager nor customer service did anything. guess I'll stay away. I don't personally want to be yelled at by that rotten cashier.
