Buckle in, this is a long one..... We were recommended to this family run auto mechanics shop through a friend. We went here for a second opinion on an AC issue and they treated us like family. They diagnosed the problem immediately and didn't play any games. The original estimate (from the other place) we were given was $2300 to fix the compressor and condenser. Junior popped the hood as soon as I pulled up and showed me exactly why there was nothing wrong with either one of those things. He told me I was most likely leaking freon somewhere and to come by whenever it was running hot again so he could find the leak. I was back by the end of the day. He told me he was pretty sure it was my evaporator coil based on where the puddle was located. He said once he started taking the dash apart he would know for sure. These guys tore my car apart (respectfully) to find the leak and it was right where he hypothesized. Two days later (as discussed and promised) my AC is fixed for a fraction of the cost of my other shop I USED to go to. Have you EVER had anyone clean your car for you? He said he wanted to leave it nicer than we gave it to him... EXCUSE ME, SIR?! What?! I can barely get my kids to clean up after themselves, but I guess his momma taught him right. We mentioned that the other place did some work and couldn't find where the antifreeze was leaking from. He found the leak and fixed it. "No big deal", he claims. I will GLADLY drive across town from now on for something a small as an oil change from now on. The place I used to go to was a 10 minute walk. These guys are knowledgeable, extremely respectful and have now earned a lifetime customer. I feel like I was treated like family. I am so incredibly grateful I've found a mechanic I can TRUST now!
