To the crew of Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota, WOW! Not only was a professional, like new job was performed...but you detailed my vehicle. I also had an annoying check engine light on and I was able to find (through you all) that I'd been overfilling, causing it t come on. The Toyota Dealership said it would cost over $2,000.00 to fix. But I found out not to fill it beyond the first shut off. Three tanks later it's A-OK! Over the years, I've been in and had much work done and have learned that Sunset Cadillac believes in work being done Like New and anything less is unacceptable. From the Front desk and the business side of getting started to pick up I have peace of mind that all is well, and I am front and center. I picked up my car after having collision repair. I had intended to take it to a car wash afterwards, as it was pretty filthy before I brought it in. I was absolutely amazed at how immaculately clean it was, inside and outside. I felt I was driving it off the new car lot. I found out that Bill is in charge of cleaning the cars before they are sent home. I cannot say enough about the beautiful job that Bill did on my car. The repair was also done to my complete satisfaction. It does feel like I’m driving a new car!

I think that the work was top shelf, but only time will tell. My problem relates to the time it took to complete a 2700.00 job on my Volvo. I asked how long it would take, I was told 3-5 days. It took 3 weeks. They deny that they told me 3-5 days but the service consultant most certainly did. Also NO communication except those that I initiated and one that said the cost was going to go up because they forgot 100.00 worth of parts. They wanted to know if they should continue. So be careful on the time especially if you really need the car.Services: Body & Trim

Believe the reviews, I wish i had read them before taking my car there. Very poor communication, and some that are quite rude. Still don’t have my car back and can’t seem to get an update as to when, hoping their body work is better than the way the handleCustomers and communication.

Where to begin.. awful experience start to finish. Can't believe VW uses them as an authorized repair place. Communication is awful was promised car would be ready at a certain point and then the vehicle was just sitting for ever with out any service people being aware as to why the vehicle was even there. I was literally waiting for a vehicle that was promised to be done without anyone even having knowledge of what was to be done for the car......I am very disappointed and would have been stranded if I hadn't been consist and talking with service as it was taking forever. Would not ever come back....

The worst experience I’ve ever had with any repair. I had to wait a month and half to even get in. After I got scheduledfor my appointment they wanted me to bring an estimate. On the phone I mentioned I was in a car accident and what is probably wrong with my car this was the first time getting the car in therefore I don’t have any estimate. The reception is very rude absolutely not helpful. After I arrived for my appointment she keep asking me for this estimate which I don’t have because I haven’t been there yet so I don’t know what’s wrong with the car. She proceeds to tell me that now the appointment cant be taken care of and I need to reschedule and wait another month and a half. She lied and said that she emailed me multiple times and called me I have no Emails from this lady. And the only time that she called me was stating that she needed this estimate which I sent her a copy of the insurance send me after that there was no contact whatsoever so in my mind I’m thinking that she has everything that she needs because there was no further email no for the phone calls. But upon arrival everything was different. Terrible customer service and she didn’t even care.

I have been in the collision industry for over 30 years when my wife wrecked her Audi I was very concerned on where to take it to have it repaired . we've never had work done in Florida but I must say premiere collision center of Sarasota did an outstanding jobon our car. Mike handled our claim very professionally and the technitions did a fantastic job bringing our car back to preaccident condition. I would highly recommend any anyone needing collision work completed to use this facility we are extremely satisfied with the outcome . WORST REPAIR SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT FIX MY CAR RIGHT 3 TIMES BEFORE I ACCEPTED IT BACK. BUT COME TO FIND MY STEERING WHEEL WAS EITHER SWAPPED OR DAMAGED. THEY DIDNT USE SEAT OR WHEEL COVERS ON OUR BRAND NEW VOLVO SUV. THEY LEFT RAZORBLADE LIKE CUTS IN OUR (BRAND NEW WHEN WE LEFT IT WITH THEM )STEERING WHEEL, THEY TRIED GIVING OUR CAR BACK TO US WITH A CRACKED TAIL LIGHT, DAMAGED RIM (WITH NEWLY MOUNTED TIRE) WORST PAINT JOB ON A REPAIR I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. KEEP IN MIND INSURANCE COVERS THESE "NEW PARTS" , BUT NOW COME TO FIND MORE AND MORE ISSUES, A SENSOR IN THE SPOT THAT WAS REPAIRED IS NOW DAMAGED, THERE ARE RUSTY DIRTY FINGERPRINTS ALL OVER THE TRUNK CEILING LINER, I MEAN THE LIST GOES ON....NOW I HAVE TO BRING MY CAR 1 HR ONE WAY BACK TO THIS PLACE TO GET THESE ISSUES RESOLVED... NEVER, I MEAN EVER, BRING YOUR CAR HERE.SOMEHTING IS OFF WITH THE WAY WE GOT OUR CAR BACK IS NOT AT ALL WHAT YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU DEAL WITH LUXURY CERTIFIED REPAIR SHOPS. We brought our brand new 21' Volvo to this "certified" volvo repair shop, let me start by saying I wouldnt let them fix a GEO. IT was 2 MONTHS till we got our car back, and the problems dont stop there... The tried giving us back the car with a cracked tail light, terrible paint job, and the orignial rim (damaged badly)... we refused to take it in that condition. Keep in mind they put a new tire on this severly messed up rim and were going to give it back to us... Then I went with my wife, Nothing was fixed other than the Rim was switched... Again we refused to take out car back as the tail light was still cracked, the trunk slide was literally hanging by some reused sticky pad, and the paint was spotty to say the least. They were giving my wife updates, we didnt have any contact for weeks towards the end. NOW less than a week later, after getting our car back, sensors are needing service in the exact location they were working, this was a hack job, the mechanics and technicians who did this repair should be fired. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN A REPAIR I HAVE EVER HAD, AND MY CAR IS STILL SCREWED UP. THIS ISNT ABOUT THE TIME IT TOOK, ITS ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE A REPAIR THEY DID. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE, NO MATTER WHAT

I went here as this was stated to be the number one location to get my Cadillac fixed after being hit by a drunk driver. Work was completed and the car looked great. Roughly 3 months later I had a leak on the side of the car which was repaired inside the door well. This caused my skid plate to warp. I brought my car back and was told that this wasn't caused by the repair that they did and was met with terrible customer service. After going back and forth I ended up having to go over to the Cadillac dealership next door and talking to the head of both places who was very apologetic and was able to get my issue situated. 4 weeks later this shop called me back and put on the new piece which was warped. Everything looks great now but I was so disappointed in the customer service skills that this place has and how I was treated. Going back the customer service was terrible again. If another client had the same issue they might have not been willing to go through what I did to get it fixed correctly.
