I came to your store which is located at the address 140 University Town Center Dr
Sarasota, FL 34243
I was here on 7:10 pm October 16
On your web site and Google maps shows that your are open till 8 pm.
I went from Clearwater, 1.5 hours. I thought that you are open.
And right now I should drive 1.5 hours back with nothing.
It’s terrible.

Excellent customer service and quality of goods. I could not have been more happy with my purchase and I highly recommend visiting this store to look for furnishings for your home.I'm surprised to see the other negative reviews, most of which occurred around a year ago. It seems that the customer experience has significantly improved since then, and those reviews do not match the experience I have had thus far with Pottery Barn UTC.

The staff here are all amazing! I shop here often just because of them.

Ran into PB today to grab some sheets. Would have taken 3 minutes to help me spend $500 plus. The woman who had to come from the back room to help could NOT have been more rude to me. I’m happy to spend my $ at another franchise. ?? PB

Visited this beautiful store today and Jody was very sweet and helpful in ordering me some furniture and other items. Can’t wait for my next visit.

The entire process is a joke. I arrived at the PB location in Sarasota (UTC mall) on Friday around 6pm. When I arrived, the PB employee stated that she is unable to retrieve our item(s) from their stock room and doesn’t have anyone to run it to my car. I thought this was a bit odd because I’m certain if this item were say a wreath or set of dish ware this wouldn’t have been an issue. No where in my email does it say that PB workers are not able to retrieve your items from their stock room after a specific time. Mind you, I’m driving 30-40 minutes away ONE WAY to pick up these items. I didn’t give the lady a hard time and was completely understanding of her dilemma (even though I felt she was giving me lip service). She said to come back Saturday or Sunday during normal business hours and there most certainly will be an employee available to retrieve my items. She gave me step by step instructions on where to park when I arrive and who to call after parking. Fast forward, I come back on Sunday during normal business hours. We even call ahead before leaving just ensure they are able to have someone bring out the items. They confirm and stated everything is a go and we’ll see you soon. There was a bit of a rainstorm when we left which continued as we pulled up to the designated curbside pickup. However, I assume when I called the number on the parking sign they would inform me that it’ll be a minute due the unexpected weather. Nope, they said they’ll be out in 15 minutes, what car do I drive and have my trunk ready. We wait. Wait. Waited some more. Practically sat for 45 minutes waiting with no follow up phone call. I storm inside the store (in the pouring rain) and explain to the PB employee that have been waiting outside for over 30 minutes. No one could call me and inform me that they were unable to run it up to my car because of the rain? I don’t expect employees to lug around furniture in the rain but I do expect a courtesy call to inform me that they can’t. Just basic communication would go along so I’m not spending another day just waiting around. I eventually tell the store manage to give me the items and I’ll carry them myself to the car since he was of no help. I carried the box of two Cline chairs ( yes the big box of Cline chairs myself) to my car……in the rain. I honestly would have been better off paying for home delivery especially if I have to do the hard lifting myself. Terrible experience from top to bottom. I have shopped at PB for years for furniture but this may be my last. Poor customer service all around. Even your customer service direct line was useless.

I found this so disappointing I have shopped Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn for years. I ordered a holiday duvet cover and shams from Pottery Barn. Ten days later it went on sale. I went to the store in Sarasota Fl., nope we can't do price adjustments. I called customer service. I had to return it, minus a 12.00 shipping label, even though they were making me return. Again done. Now it another 50.00 cheaper, yep let's go through this bullshit scenario again. What a scam. I'll never shop either again.

When I called initially for help to locate an on sale item, the lady on the phone was super helpful. Think that her name was Michelle; she told me to call her if I ever wanted to order anything vs. doing it online. Because she was so nice and helpful on that call, I did exactly that when I needed to get a few pieces of furniture. When I did call back to order, she wasn't there so I placed the order with the manager. It took a lot of my time to do this vs. just doing it online, but the manager, Stephanie, told me that it helps the store when you order online.Fast forward almost 7-8 weeks, my furniture order keeps getting delayed. I called the manager to see what is holding it up - she basically tells me what I can see online and advises me to call customer service to find out more. WTF? What lousy service, and I pretty much told her so. She should have offered to call and find out what happened. She told me to "wait until Monday because it says that it'll be delivered then." It's Saturday today and no one has called me.Long story short, I called Customer Service myself and they scheduled the delivery for me.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! They just take your order and money - don't expect them to help you afterwards if you run into an issue. You'll get more accountability from the online folks. And you wonder why stores keep shuttering. The one thing brick-and-mortars can offer is good customer service and if that's not available, then why bother.

Great furniture, fabulous holiday items. Serve all ages of the family from babies to grandparents with their selection. Prices vary, but can get some bargains when sales hit. Service is usallly pretty good.

The store was not very large for a pottery barn, and therefore didn't have anywhere near a full assortment. A lot of mercjadose sold was not re-stocked. The store was also in a bit of disarray and dust was covering a lot of the surfaces.

Their furniture may be quality stuff but their customer service is the furthest it can be from quality. Never again will I order there. They don’t deserve one star.
