This is the second time I’ve shipped with them and I need to post a review. They are so great.
Last year while I was visiting my folks they gave me their wedding china: close to 100 pieces, that they got when they married 63 years ago. The catch? I had to figure out how to get it from Sarasota all the way back to Washington state. I looked into every single option, including renting a car and driving it across the country myself. (yeah, I know) And finally decided to try PAKmail and that was the best thing I could have done.
They patiently explained how they'd pack it, gave me a quote, helped me understand insurance, etc. They divided it into 6 boxes, with each item wrapped and floated in peanuts, so nothing was touching. Then that box was floated in a second box of peanuts. I could track each box across the country and (most importantly!) not a single piece was even chipped.
This year my shipping puzzle involved a large ceramic piece and a small glass vase. They custom cut the silhouettes into a block of foam and nestled them in, so they were immobilized and insulated. They did that double box thing (one box floated in a second box of peanuts). And once again, I could track it all the way, and the 2 pieces arrived in perfect condition.
They're worth every single penny. If you are visiting Sarasota and need to ship anything fragile or precious these are your new friends.

Taking a moment to give thanks and commend Jen & Craig Palmer at this Pakmail is worth more than one positive survey in my opinion. They were professional, efficient and so helpful answering questions. The icing on the cake was their personal touch they offer by just being who they are. I highly recommend this Pakmail location to anyone needing services that they offer.Jen & Craig - You are my preferred and only place to go in Sarasota. ?

Impressive Turnaround!I recently had the pleasure of working with pak mail and couldn't be happier with the transformation I've witnessed.In the past, the customer service here was lacking, and it left a lot to be desired. However, the new ownership has brought about a remarkable change. The dedication to providing excellent customer service is truly commendable.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. It's evident that the new team takes pride in their work and is committed to exceeding customer expectations.If you've had reservations about using them in the past, I encourage you to give them another chance. DO NOT USE THEM!! I do not like to criticize a business, but I feel compelled to warn any potential customer to the ultimate failure of this company to pack our valuable artwork carefully and thoughtfully. Especially since they state that their expertise is packing and shipping artwork. In our opinion, their approach to packing a valuable piece of a 30+-pound sculpture was negligent, using materials that were extremely insufficient, e.g., using the thinnest possible bubble wrap that was barely thicker than paper towel, and loosely packed with popcorn (which we have since found out that very few packing professionals use any more because other packing materials are more effective.) They also knew that it was a treasured piece, not only due to its beauty but also because it belonged to a decease parent. We experienced a SENSELESS LOSS due to NEGLIGENCE and POOR JUDGEMENT. The piece was COMPLETELY DESTROYED!!In response to the owner: We DID reach out to you, 2 times, with no response at all from you. This is not about the (pitiful) $300 offer, nor is it about whether or not it was insured. This IS about the careless and negligent packing of our 30+ pound, glass sculpture. The previous owner has nothing to do with this. You and Craig are the owners, the responsible parties, and that employee was YOUR employee. You and CRAIG are solely responsible for this. If he, and you, truly cared about the safe packaging of the art, you would have been more involved. STOP BLAMING the previous owner, or this employee. This is your responsibility. BEWARE EVERYONE!!
